”Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. ”The Creekside Inn is basic, but in Alpine County, if that's where you want to be (and it offers incredible outdoor opportunities and natural beauty year-round!), basic is pretty good. It's quiet, and not at all as pricey as most of the alternatives (of which there are very few). Fabulous restaurant, Stonefly, across the street, is open for dinner Th-Sun. ”Great property and staff is very communicative! Easy to check-in/check-out. We were late to check in and had an issue with the lock accessing our keys. We could reach out to them easily, and staff was there to help in 5-7mins. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a group stay. ”
