”I usually do not give ratings but this time I feel that I have to let people know how amazing this Ryokan/hotel is. First the location is right in the middle of Beppus 7 Hells. You walk out and around corner they are! Second the hotel has breathtaking views of Beppu and the sea. Third the ryokan do not look much from the street but boy when you walk in you are surrounded by absolutely beautiful japanese garden, pond and architecture. Fourth, all the 4 rooms we had had own beautiful onsen bath...

”One of the best hotels we ever stayed. It's spacious and hotel staffs are friendly and attentive.. however, all the restaurants are next door at Amane Seikai. So all your meals have to be taken there. It's a bit troublesome though. Breakfast is great.. simple and healthy. We had dinners at seafood restaurant and Japanese restaurant for 2 days. Price is very reasonable. Food is ok. Recommend you to eat at the hotel instead of travelling out. ”

”The interior had a nice cozy feel and it was a bonus to listen to a live pianist perform in the lobby area. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful even when I had a difficult situation with my luggage that they resolved with compassion. The kaiseki was amazing and our private bath was very relaxing. It was nice to be next to the sea for the breeze while soaking in the bath. The price was very affordable for the service they provide. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely...

”I absolutely loved staying here! The onsen was perfect after a day of driving. The style of the hotel is really cool, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Motorbike parking was available and the room was comfy and warm. It's a short walk into town, but nothing too difficult. ”

”寿に宿泊しました。 ゆっくり、のんびり出来ました。 食事も美味しくいただきました。 由布岳が見える露天風呂は工事中のため使用できませんでしたが、他な露天風呂は入れて、気持ちよかったです。 今度行く時には由布岳の見える露天風呂に入りたいと思いました。”

”We didn’t know what to expect but were very happy with our stay at the Rex. It’s very clean, modern, great design and has an excellent indoor/outdoor onsen up on the top floor with an amazing ocean view. We loved that you had to take your shoes off at the entrance of the large and lovely lobby floor and go to our room in slippers. And there are also great public onsen nearby. Parking was included and there was a lot of parking spots very close to the entrance.”
