”I can't imagine there being a better place in Galle. Peaceful. Quiet. Lovely owner. She was so nice to us, my wife was pregnant and even let us stay a bit longer whilst we waited for our taxi as she wasn't feeling well. What a lovely human being! We were welcomed with drinks and a hotel towel. Breakfast was amazing. Staff are really nice. Highly recommend.”

”Rauhallinen hotelli. Ei kuitenkaan ole mikään luxus hotelli. Hotelli saisi huomattavasti paremman arvostelun jos kiinteistöstä pidettäisiin parempi huoli esim. vesisateella vettä tuli ikkunoiden tiivisteistä läpi niin että lammikkoja oli käytävällä. Parvekkeita ei pestä säännöllisesti. Mutta kuitenkin ihan viihtyisä ja hyväkin hotelli.”

”At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there.”

”I had a really wonderful time at Tabula Rasa. Felt like the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is stunning. It is worth being located up hill in the peace and quiet, and so easy to pop out in a tuk tuk. The food was really good, I expected to eat out more but, I’d often crave the chef’s dhal! I was able to eat really good plant based meals without getting bored of the menu. The chef would come out to chat, and was very keen to ensure I enjoyed the food. All...
