Need a break? Take A Salty Pause. This classic Kitty Hawk cottage has been fully renovated, blending the charm of a traditional Outer Banks family getaway with fresh, upscale touches throughout. Inside, you'll find quality furnishings and thoughtful design throughout—from quartz countertops and LVP floors to the tiled showers and stainless steel appliances. The top floor features a comfortable living area and a kitchen made for sharing meals and making memories, plus an ocean-facing deck that's perfect for coffee with a view. Two king master bedrooms (one with a private deck) and two queen bedrooms give everyone a comfortable place to recharge.

Downstairs, the fun continues with an additional king bedroom and an open-concept rec space complete with a pool table, arcade game, and wet bar for laid-back evenings or rainy-day fun. Want to spend your time outdoors? The covered lounge space is the perfect place to gather. Light the grill and bring out the burgers, or end your day with a soak in the hot tub. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, or simply unwind in the ocean breeze.

And speaking of the beach—it's practically in your front yard. The empty oceanfront lot across the street is yours, giving you unrestricted access to the shore. Located at milepost 3, you're a block away from burgers at Art's Place or a martini at Ocean Boulevard. Sea Scape Golf Links is less than a half mile away, making this a perfect spot for those looking to spend time on the green. It's the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and coastal charm—because everyone needs A Salty Pause now and then.

Brand new and sparkling clean. The house and location were perfect. 10 out of 10! Was really nice to have the private beach access directly across the street. And it’s within walking distance to restaurants. The kids walked to get ice cream almost every night.
