Blue Skies - Bright, Spaciuos 4 BR oceanside home w/Private Pool and Hot Tub

Bright, spacious, lovingly-furnished and well-equipped home (with gourmet kitchen) on a quiet, beach side street, near lifeguards. Sunny, custom pool (very private) in the trees with generous lounging and dining area, pool bar (with sink, refrigerator); separate bathroom and shower by pool. Extensive furnished decks on two levels; upper level screened porch captures breezes; hot tub under the stars and shaded hammock on lower deck. With living rooms and entertainment centers on two levels, and ping-pong on ground floor, there's plenty of room to be all together or enjoy your own space. 325 yards to beach access.
Level 1:

Garage with full-sized ping-pong table.
Level 2:

3 bedrooms (1 with Queen, flat screen TV/DVD/CD player, private bath with tub and shower); 1 with Twins, can be converted to King with flat screen TV; 1 with Bunk set and Trundle, shared full bath with tub and shower); spacious family room with kitchenette (microwave, wet bar, refrigerator), table and chairs, 50” flat screen TV/DVD/CD player, 1 Sleep sofa; laundry room with work table.
Level 3:

Bedroom (with King, flat screen TV, private bath with Jacuzzi and separate shower). Great room with vaulted ceiling, 40” flat screen TV/DVD/CD player.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Wonderful Blue Skies!

The house was bigger and more spacious then the photos appeared. There was plenty of room for all members of the family to find their own space when they wanted, but fanastic gathering spaces around the dining room table, kitchen, and heated pool area for the entire family. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. which made it easy to create our own meals and snacks. Beach was just a short walk down the street with the beach cart and folding chairs provided. Hot tub and hammock were nice touches too. Wonderful memories were made under blue skies!!
