3 bedrooms (1 with Queen, private shower bath, TV/DVD player; 1 with Queen with TV/DVD player; 1 with 2 Bunk sets), hall bath with shower, laundry area; sitting/game room with sleep sofa, 46'' TV/DVD player; hammock on deck.

Level 3:
Great room with 60" flat screen HDTV/ Blu-ray player/Wii; gas fireplace, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, half bath, bedroom (with King, private bath with soaking tub and separate shower, TV/DVD player, private deck), screened porch with picnic table, deck with chairs.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Location

Our family had a great week, it was our first time in the Outer Banks, and believe this was a perfect location. Just a block walk across the road to the beach. Pool was nice and the hot tub was very relaxing. The one queen bed did kinda go to the middle, and there seemed to be an ant issue, but other than that, everything was nice. Overall the house was nice, just maybe need an exterminator to come in and replace that one mattress.

The house was great. Well stocked kitchen. Loved the screened porch. Only downside was close to Rt. 12 and traffic noise. Other than that, it was very enjoyable.
