    Avoin pohjaratkaisu tarjoaa runsaasti tilaa koko perheellesi. Yläkerran kerroksessa on suuri hieno huone, jossa on taulutelevisio ja kaasutakka, viihtyisät rannikkokalusteet ja runsaasti luonnollista valoa. Valmista mieleenpainuvat ateriat keittiössä kauniilla graniitti- ja ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetuilla laitteilla ja aamiaisbaarilla, jossa on 4 jakkaraa. Kuninkaallisella päälliköllä on katedraalin katto ja siinä on suuri vesisuihku ja erillinen suihku. Keskitasolla on 3 makuuhuonetta, jokaisella on oma terassi. Alemmalla tasolla on 2 makuuhuonetta ja mediahuone, jossa on suuri taulutelevisio ja pääsy uima-altaalle. Vietä jonkin aikaa ulkona omassa uima-altaassasi ja porealtaassa tai pelata lentopalloa takapihalla. Hotelli sijaitsee lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä yksityisestä Duck Landing -kerhotalosta ja pääsystä rannalle!


    Duck Landing sijaitsee kaupungin Duck keskustassa. Pulahda lämmitettyyn sisäuima-altaaseen (saatavana myös lämmitetty lastenallas) milloin tahansa vuoden aikana! Duck Landing tarjoaa paino- / kuntosalit, tenniskentät ja pelihuoneen, jotka kaikki sijaitsevat Oceanside-klubitalossa. Saapua vähän liian aikaisin sisäänkirjautumiseen? Ei hätää, voit mennä klubitaloon ja aloittaa loman. WC-huoneet sijaitsevat klubitalossa ja voit pysäköidä ja kävellä rannalle. Käytä lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä nähdäksesi äänen ja lähellä sijaitsevat putiikit ja kaupat. Kokeile ostoksesi jälkeen yhtä ravintolaa nauttiaksesi ainutlaatuisen ruokailukokemuksen. Perfect Location

Family Tradition was the perfect house for us in a great location. We had a mix of ages and the houses suited everyone, great pool with shade and plenty of seating. Also enjoyed the ability to use the club house facilities and the close walk to the beach.

Pool area is great with the little bar area and the easy access to the volleyball court. Location was good close to town and not far from the beach and there seemed to be parking available daily down by the clubhouse.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in a great location. Close to the shops and boardwalks and the beach is a reasonable walk. The volleyball court is not useable, there are weeds or other growth with spikes or thorns in it. The house had a lot of sand in it when we arrived and the grill did not work. While this may seem like knit picking, the rent on the home is not a small amount and to have a QA check is not unreasonable. While this may seem critical, we had a great week and we would consider this property again.

Fabulous week in Duck!

We loved this property! We are a large family with children in a variety of age groups and it was perfect for all. The pool area is a highlight- the pool is large and allowed for basketball, volleyball and lounging. We were SO pleased with the amount of seating around the pool (not typical for a rental). The bar area was also nice to get some shade and have a drink while others were in the pool or hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances up to date but the ice machine did not work, which is an inconvenience considering we’re making daily beach day coolers. There was a second beverage fridge on the first level but a second full fridge/freezer would have been nice in a house sleeping up to 14. Beds were comfortable, although we struggled with missing sheet sets for three of the beds; and I’d bring my own pillows in hindsight. Check in process was seamless, and the Duck Landing community is lovely- we met several locals who live on the street. Parking at the end of the street is clutch if you’re lugging a ton of stuff to the beach! Thanks for an amazing vacation!

Perfect Family Vacation getaway

The realty company was extremely responsive. The house is in the perfect location, 6 minute walk to the beach or 4 houses away from all that Duck has to offer. The house is well appointed, kitchen fully stocked, all nice new, clean appliances. We had fun with the puzzles and board games in the family room. Loved that every bedroom has its own bathroom, makes staying with extended family very comfortable that everyone has their own space. The first floor was perfect for the kids with the bunk bed room and twin room and their own living room. It was too hot to use the jacuzzi when we were there, but the pool was refreshing. The pool area could be cleaned up better, the pool floats were just thrown around when we arrived. But it was nice that there were floats and beach chairs and toys for us to use. The outdoor shower was wonderful! Loved the clubhouse at the end of the street as well. We would absolutely rent again! Thank you for a wonderful vacation for our family!

Reviewer Comments: Starting off with the Pros:- The house is a great size for a group of 10-14 people!- It's located near the entrance of Duck Landing neighborhood, so it's about a 7-10 minute walk to the beach but it's not that bad of a walk.- The landscaping and layout of the outside and inside is beautiful!- The pool is an amazing addition if you're not staying oceanfront. It's a plus if the water is too cold/rough to get into, as well. - The hot tub was a great addition.- The hammock got a lot of use!- There are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and kitchen utensils to use so that's great.- The house is within walking distance to a lot of cool areas within Duck. - Even though you're right next to people, you can barely hear your neighbors.- When I let the renters know about the cleanliness problem, they were very responsive and polite/understanding.Now onto the cons:- The house was not clean when we arrived.- The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. - The amount of towels given.- The outside toy/beach chairs/tiki bar/storage areas were not clean or put away. There was stuff, dirt, and what appeared to be dryer lint everywhere.- The pool had not been cleaned either, but there is a skimmer you can use to do it yourself. - The shower door in the Master bath was broken, so you had to gingerly enter and exit the shower.- The driveway/parking tetris game you have to play is a little inconvenient as you're not allowed to park on the street, but we made it work. - This has nothing to do with the house, but if you're planning on staying in Duck during peak season, plan on getting to your restaurants early. We had a two hour wait at a fairly inexpensive and disappointing restaurant down the street. No where takes reservations, but if you can get in early at the nicer places - go for it. - Also has nothing to do with the house, but if you're trying to plan excursions in Nags Head/KDH/Ki

The pool is the best part of the house and offered hours of fun along with the walkability of Duck and the charm of the town we were never without something to do. The bedrooms are perfect and there is plenty of space for family and alone time. Highly recommend the RedSky Cafe down the street.

All Around Wonderful

This is a perfect house for any stay! There is plenty of space and privacy as well as large common areas. The house, pool and hot tub were very clean. It is a great location within walking distance to the beach and shopping/dining. We will most definitely be back!

Beautiful home in a great location

Our family had a great stay at Family Tradition. The home is gorgeous, the pool was a favorite among the kids. Also loved being walking distance to the ocean, shopping, and restaurants.

Great house. Doesn't include some stuff that you normally expect so bring TP, paper towels, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, salt and pepper, trash bags, etc...

The only disappointment was related to the challenge that Covid prevented the use of the beach during the earlier part of the day. Too difficult to remain 6 ft apart. The pool was great but it would have been nice to have access to the grassy area where there was a net for outdoor activities. The grass was too high. We asked to have it mowed. That did not happen until Friday and, unfortunately, the clippings were left behind - so it was unusable. Otherwise, it would have been a 5 star stay.
