  • Welcome to Jurmala by KEES Vacations

    This charming 4-bedroom, pet-friendly - and kid-friendly - vacation home situated up on a high dune is located in the heart of the desirable town of Duck, NC in the Carolina Dunes community. Its amenities are sure to provide you with an amazing vacation.

    Take a dip in the private outdoor pool or enjoy a snack or your favorite beverage underneath the covered dining area. There is a full bathroom in this area for convenience. Be sure to wash off in the outdoor shower before going inside. Also, on this level is a full bathroom for convenience.

    Inside, you will find a spacious living area, a large kitchen with bar stool seating, and a large dining table for the whole group. All of the 4 bedrooms are on the same level. These include two Queen Bedrooms, 1 Bedroom with 2 Twin Bunks, 1 King Bedroom, and 2 Jack and Jill Bathrooms.

    Walking outside from the living area, you will be amazed by the abundance of deck space. Built into the deck on the second level is the hot tub perfect for soothing off the skin while you gaze up at the Outer Banks sky. The screened-in porch will provide hours of relaxation.

    For those who want an even better view, head up to the bird's nest to find views of the ocean on one side and the sound on the other. Wait until you get a glimpse of a beautiful sunrise and sunset! Up here is also a spiral staircase that will take you down to the pool area. Don't worry, there are locking wooden gates to keep the children safe!

    The Carolina Dunes community beach access is a short walk down the street! You can grab a bicycle or your tennis shoes and take a walk through Duck Village where you will find adorable shops, delicious restaurants, and fun attractions. The Duck Boardwalk and Town Park are big hits as well. If you enjoy water sports, you will love the location of this vacation home!

    There are four parking spots for guests and an EV Charger for your use.

    **This home is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a small one-time fee of $185, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

    **Want added comfort? Consider adding the Heated Pool option! A Heated Pool option can be added upon request for $50 per night of your reservation. This fee is added to your reservation at the time of the request, which must be a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Pool heat must be added for the entirety of your stay.**

    This pool is heated by a heat pump. An ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.**

    **Private heated pools will open on April 1st and close on November 1st. Hot tubs are open year-round. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter the backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. No pets allowed in pools.**

    **For your safety and security, the entrance to this home is monitored by camera. Any attempt to dismantle, move, or tamper with the camera device in any way is a violation of our house rules and additional charges may apply.**

    Check-In begins at 4pm.Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
    Check-Out is 10am.

    The Village Beach Club pool is open from May 1 to October 1. The pool is open daily from 9:00am to 7:00pm. Parking passes are required for the Village Beach Club between May 28th and September 6th. Parking passes are $10 daily or $35 weekly.

We loved the home we will go back. Pack blankets because there are none. Also they have beach chairs and a wagon for tenants to use so you don't need to bring your own.

Great location and lovely views from tower

The house is in a lovely and quiet neighborhood in Duck and we walked to the beach frequently. Views of ocean and Sound from tower were terrific. The interior of the house was very clean and the pool, spa, deck and patio were great amenities. There were only a few downsides: 1. All exterior lights on parking level not working, which makes for creepy evening arrivals/departures. 2. Wasn’t really a comfortable piece of furniture inside the house. 3. The dryer seems to vent right into the laundry room, making that room a damp and mildewy environment.

The house and location was great and very accessible the kitchen was very updated and modern with a very well stocked cabinets with all the pots and ans you could ask for. The 1st day we was there we noticed the coffee pot was broken so i reached out to the management just to twll them and the next day they brought us a brand new one which i thought was very great. The pool was a hit everyone enjoyed it. The hot tub was a bonus we enjoyed that in the mornings and at night.Now the cons.I live in Virginia and where im from im used to insects and all the critters but this place had so many large and small spiders in every corner of all the porches and laundry room there was no brooms to even try to knock them down i understand places get bugs but this was ridiculous the inside of the house didnt have any but the outside including the screen in porch was covered some of our kids refused to come out at night bc of it. Im just suggesting maybe have the porches cleaned off. Other than that the property was great.

pros:1.clean with all bath towels in sealed packages2.large deck, w hot tub & seating3. kitchen well-equipped, featuring plethora of cooking utensils, cookware, plastic dishes and utensils for little kids.4. laundry room had a cart for the beach w beach toys, chairs, and beach umbrella 5. had extra fridge in laundry room downstairs that was great for when your at the pool 6. outside pool area had plenty of pool toys/float and pool noodles7. staff was quick to respond to any questions we had as long as it was before 58.cute little houseCons:1. beds come with clean sheets and pillows but dont have comforters except for the room with bunk beds. im glad i had brought my own with me2. was a struggle trying to get into laundry room, for the record laundry room is the blue door in car port.3. no blender so bring one if you want to make drinks.4. beach towels not included.5. email given upon arrival and upon departure but doesnt have a lot of info, even the book in the house doesnt have alot of info. I wish they had given more info about local places to visit, beach access and location, also local stores.6. For those wondering how to get to the beach when facing in driveway facing house its on the left side down the road at the end of block and to the left with a nice wood walkway and wash station for sand.7. pet friendly but no area for pets outside8. no curtains on living room windows making it super creepy at night9. lookout stairs are super narrow and steep
