Lovely Oceanside condo in beautiful Duck, North Carolina Outer Banks!

Brand New for Summer 2023! Simply Zen is a luxurious, oceanside and private 1-bedroom (king bed), 1 full bath condo with a fully stocked kitchen in the heart of duck! The condo is attached to our vacation home which is not rented. The condo has a private & separate entrance. Simply Zen also offers for your use only a large and beautiful private pool with hot tub, barbecue, & corn hole toss. There is also an outside shower. You can take a very short walk to the coffee shop, ice cream shop, restaurants, boardwalk, and the most glorious sunsets. And then walk to the beach at the other end of the street to enjoy a beach private to the residents and guests of Marlin Drive. . A relaxing place to enjoy your coffee in the morning and beverages of choice in the evening. The condo is equipped with beach chairs and towels, as well as sheets and bath towels. So, what are you waiting for, pack your clothes and book your vacation with Simply Zen! New and beautiful memories are waiting for you! Adults only, no children or pets.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This was our first visit to the Outer Banks and we couldn't have asked for a better property to stay at. It is perfectly situated in walking distance to the beach, the sound, and main hub of shops in Duck. The amenities are private and the owners are super helpful and easy to communicate with. The unit delivers as promised. It was Zen from the moment we arrived until the minute we left. What makes the unit so special is the outdoor living space with pool, jacuzzi and recreation area. But the inside is very finely appointed, also. The owners are fabulous to work with. Added to that, Duck itself is like a stress refuge. The whole area exudes peacefulness and contentment. I would certainly stay there again and recommend you do, also!

We had a wonderful time at Duck! The condo was perfect for my hubs and me. We loved having our own private pool and hot tub in the back yard. The condo is positioned in the middle of the road which meant it was close to the beach and the town. We spent days at the beach and evenings in the pool and hot tub. Perfect trip for our anniversary!

What a beautiful, relaxing property! Our stay was so incredible whether we were at the beach at the end of the private street or in the pool in the calming yard. Situated perfectly in Duck with quick access to all. The condo was incredibly clean and well situated for our mother/daughter vacation!

Stayed here for a long weekend with my girlfriend and this place was perfect. Short walk to the beach and everywhere in Duck. Also comes with beach parking which made it easy to get to and from the beach with a cooler, chairs, etc. The private pool and hot tub was great too, especially when the beach was crowded. Plenty of towels and beach/pool supplies as well. Dan was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Duck Relaxation

Beautiful property with lots of privacy. My husband and I enjoyed the pool area which was lovely. The condo was very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Beach is close and lots of things to do in town within walking distance.

Relax at the Beach in Duck NC

cozy apartment perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing beach getaway. we had our own backyard pool, and the beach was as close to ‘private’ as you will find anywhere, and only 400 yards away. while the unit does not have its own washer/dryer, all I needed was a few tee shirts, bermuda shorts, and my bathing suit in this beachfront community.

First time in Duck

My husband and I stayed for several days and we can’t add anymore superlatives to other reviews. The communication, location, privacy and accommodations were top-notch. The place was just fabulous and having a private pool and large yard to extend our environment outside was unlike anything we’ve experienced. Such a perfect location to be able to walk to beach or the village. Great memories made!

Getaway in Duck

Our stay on the Outer Banks was awesome. The property we stayed at was as advertised, and just perfect. Within walking distance to the beach and close to all downtown has to offer. Will definitely return and would love to stay at Simply Zen again!
