Make wonderful memories in this perfect vacation retreat offering spaciousness, privacy and total comfort. Something for everyone from toys and games and a fully-loaded recreation room to quiet places for a pleasure read, a game of cards or a glass of wine. Recliners in the living area are a bonus for relaxing and family time.

Our guests love that a short stroll leads you to the ocean (no main thoroughfare to cross), sound, or the shops and restaurants in Duck.

Level 1:
Bedroom (with Twins); full bath (with shower); 18' x 30' recreation room, 55" HDTV/Blu-ray player, stereo system, extra ceiling speakers; outdoor speakers for poolside enjoyment, poolside half bath.

Level 2:
4 bedrooms (1 with King, private bath with shower, and private deck; 1 with Queen, private bath with tub & shower, and private deck; 1 with Pyramid bunk; 1 with Pyramid bunk and Twin); full hall bath (with tub & shower); laundry; foyer with seating.

Level 3:
Great room with 51” LED HDTV/Blu-ray player with surround sound; decking with built-in seating, fully equipped kitchen with a beverage/wine cooler; updated sun room; Dining table extends to seat 10. Seating for 16 provided in dining area and sun room; powder room; bedroom (with King), private bath (with double vanity and tiled shower).

Level 4:
Sundeck with spiral staircase access.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
