”We decided to overnight at the hotel since it's conveniently located between Plettenberg Bay and Hermanus. The room was okay (few bugs though) and dinner at the restaurant was good (kudu steak especially delicious). Breakfast good, too, but service slow and the hours (one hour - 8 - 9 am) were puzzling. What we did not like was that although we mentioned at the time of the reservation that it's our honeymoon and also my birthday, neither were acknowledged. Only "special request" that was...

”Es war unsere erste Unterkunft nach der Landung in Südafrika. Wir waren in einem Cottage untergebracht und es war einfach zauberhaft. Landes typisch, sauber und ganz herzlich eingerichtet. Das Essen war lecker und das Frühstück fantastisch. Auch die Exkursionsfahrten waren sehr lustig und informativ. Wir haben die zwei Tage dort sehr genossen. ”An absolute find in this beautiful part of the Karoo. The atmosphere and style is that of a traditional Game Lodge. The food is excellent with a team to match. There are several designated walks within the estate for all levels of ability. The one thing we noticed is how immaculately clean the whole place was, with the pool being the cleanest we've experienced throughout our travels in SA. Enjoyed a drink on terrace watching sunset over the mountains, before having a lovely meal, cooked and served by the owners. Breakfast on terrace was fresh and tasty too”

”Die Unterkunft war der Hammer! Es war einfach nur ein Traum. Die Angestellten waren sehr zuvorkommend, die Aussicht der Hammer. Wir können Camp Figtree und den Addo nur empfehlen. Genauso können wir die vom Camp organisierte Safari durch den Addo empfehlen. Weiter so!!”
