”An Overall 10/10 weekend. You couldn’t ask for more kind and friendly host, who ensured any needs were met. The house was beautiful and overlooked one of the most amazing views that I have seen stretching as far as the eye can see. Also by far and away the best avocados I have eaten. Plenty of space to hike around and plenty of cows to see. There is not a single negative thing I could say about this amazing property and its host.”

”Sure! Here's a shorter version of the review:---A Secret Place to Slow Down lives up to its name, quiet, cozy, and beautifully set in nature. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly relaxing. Close enough to Gloucester’s attractions but tucked away enough to truly unplug. The hosts were kind and attentive. A true hidden gem, we can’t wait to return!”

”Unfortunately for us we stayed whilst a severe weather event impacted the entire mid north coast of NSW so our hiking and mountain biking plans weren’t able to be met. The property is as presented and very comfortable. Our hosts were also very communicative and generous in allowing us to stay longer, should we have needed to, due to the significant flooding in the area. Very much appreciated. ”

We were fortunate to be there during quite a rainy period and the stream turned into a gushing river which was music to my ears while falling asleep with the door open.
