”Spectacular views with alot of different spaces to enjoy. It catered for all my whanau, spacious & roomy to entertain tge whanau & a few guests.”

”Enjoyed yesteryear charm. Excellent little touches. Be prepared to travel for Cafe's in Rawene. Great to walk the Kohukohu village up past the school to appreciate the wonderful old villas. Most were built in the 1800's. Best to purchase a concession card for ferry travel. Much cheaper.”

”Fantastic cottage with everything we needed, including some games and story books for the kids. Room to kick a ball around, chickens to visit and dogs to play fetch with. Happy memories. We look forward to coming back again one day.”

”Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Location was ideal for us and we could not fault it. Beds were comfy and so were the couches. Next time i will remember to take a bluetooth speaker but otherwise the lack of tv was a bonus. Went to the opononi hotel to watch the league and take the kids out for dinner. Locals are really friendly.As for the driveway, i left that for hubby to navigate. Didn't look as bad as i had envisioned but i probably would park down the bottom if I was on my own. Overall loved...

”Perfect property for a large family birthday celebration, this is a very well set up home and has the most beautiful views out to the harbour and sand dunes , the weather was perfect and the deck was well used over the entire stay!We had a lovely weekend away together and highly recommend this property for the home and the location. ”

”A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail.”

”Fantastic communication with the hosts... check-in and check-out was simple and easy. Bach is very modern with open plan layout... architecturally stunning and furnished beautifully. So much thought has gone into the amenities which made it feel like a home away from home. The panoramic views literally took my breath away. Hopefully we will be lucky enough to stay here again!”

”If you're looking for a great kiwi bach to hang out and enjoy the area in this place is perfect. ”

”Tidy and clean but also many spiders webs around the place. The cooking pans were unusable we had to ring for safe ones. The ones there were old teflon: scraped ones known to be toxic once the teflon is harmed. The host brought two stainless steel ones to us. The large knife broke in my hand upon first use which could have been dangerous. I only cooked the one night after this. The main bed is not on a sprung base, so the bed was way too hard for me to sleep on, so spent the week apart from my...
