”Great hotel in a convenient location (right by a Loves gas station)! The hotel staff were all very kind and accommodating. The hotel room was clean but had a slight cigarette smell, especially on the bed. Other than that, this was a nice stay.”

”Beautiful historic hotel! The property is amazing; gardens, plenty of spots to lounge indoor and outdoor, museum on site that is full of the hotel's history, love the artwork throughout the hotel public spaces by one of the owners. Our room was cozy and had everything that we needed. Also, had reserved patio furniture just for us.”

”I was disappointed in the lack of an elevator. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The sink did not drain at all and I couldn’t call the desk because the phone didn’t work. We were quickly moved to another room. One of the beds was clearly soiled in about 24” area. Desk attendant was courteous and provided fresh linens. Good for the price and things happen. The biggest town there was no elevator other than that I would stay here again.”

”The hotel was being renovated. One whole side had dirty mattresses in front of the rooms and clean ones on the ground. We arrived at a few minutes before 5 and were greeted with a sign that the check in person was currently unavailable. We waited almost 10 minutes before she showed up.
There was a pool but it was not vacuumed. The room had a laminated floor instead of carpet. It was clean but the cabinet door wouldn’t close because the refrigerator was too big for it.
