”Staff was friendly. Breakfast was awful. They need quality food and a better cook. Had to go to the lobby to get coffee, ice, etc. Would have been nice to have coffee in the room. No daily room service as promised. Windows on the first floor were unlocked and easily opened (check your windows for security!). Several rooms door lock systems quit working and staff had to unlock your door for you - this took way too long to fix. Though I do have to credit the owner for trying to do this in...

Shower head was low, even for my 5'3" height due to a bathtub being put over another bathtub. Outside of building is gold vinyl siding that looks grey due to the freeway exhaust on the outside. ”Best place we stayed (of 4 places) during our entire vacation! If the star ratings went up to 10, this would be a 9.9 (because there's always a little wiggle room for improvement, right?) Room was spacious and super clean, beds were very comfy, and we were SOOOO excited to be able to open the window a few inches and fall asleep to the amazing lullaby of the waves of Lake Michigan crashing on the shore -- nothing better!! We had dinner at the inn's restaurant, nightcap at the bar, and breakfast...

”We were traveling through and picked a budget hotel. The room was huge, 2 doubles (not queens) and a pull out. Room is very dated but that was expected. Typical breakfast layout with cereal, toast yogurt coffee waffle maker and eggs from a box. Also had biscuits and gravy. Room clearly was smoked in or had animals in the past as my allergies were awful through the night. But overall what we exprected”
