Gorgeous! Perfect beach location

Fantastic unit. Relaxing and wonderful stay for our anniversary. Well equipped all around. Great places to eat within walking distance. You really can’t beat the location. Our check-in was delayed 30-40 min pm due to late cleaning. Not a huge deal, just a bit annoying for an expensive unit. We got past quickly once we saw the ocean right outside our door!

Great beach relaxation spot!

Wonderful place right on Poipiu beach. Great surf sounds and sunsets. Loved the privacy but still walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops.

Beachfront in Paradise

We had a shaky start trying to find the office to get the key. Finally had to call for directions. Way too out of the way! We were not given a map of the Kiahuna Plantation and no one even wanted to talk to us, just pointed to the lock boxes and went back to what they were doing. We have stayed at the Kiahuna a number of times but never in that unit. We finally had to go to the registration building to find out which driveway to take and exactly where the building was. When we finally got to our unit neither of our keys worked! We had to call the management office and they contacted security to let us in and then the agent came z while later to give us new keys. Inside the unit was our welcome packet and the map of the resort. Sure would have been handy to have it earlier - like when we picked up our key!!! Once we were in the unit our vacation finally started and it was everything we could have hoped for. A lovely unit, kitchen with every cooking utensil one could ever need, great beach assessories, the sound of the surf, and the ocean right off the lanai. We loved our stay there!!!

Amazing honeymoon stay

We stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon and it was perfect. Beautiful views and beach access. Great restaurants around. We did a lot of exploring out of the home but it was a perfect home base. Tidepools and beach house were wonderful restaurants. Little fish co was amazing coffee and açaí bowls. Loved every minute of our stay.

a true Holiday!

The place was amazing..to hearing the waves crash at night, to stepping out our back lanai to see the surf, amazing! The place is clean, extremely well furnished, has every amenity and you can’t beat the location- walk out your door and the great beach is right there. We loved it!

Gorgeous shorefront condo in Poipu!

My husband and I stayed at Kiahuna 197 for our honeymoon over New Year’s and couldn’t have been happier with the property! First off, let me just say, the views are even more stunning in real life than they are in the pictures. You really have just a short little fence separating you from the sandy beach and expansive ocean. You walk about 100 feet and you’re at the beach entrance, and you get to see sunsets every night! You’re a quick walk from the point where turtles come to rest every evening and seals come to rest everyday, and the sunrise is viewable there, too. The property itself was also amazing! The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom area and bedroom doors close off so there’s lots of privacy. The kitchen is extremely well-appointed, with pretty much all the utensils, tools, and flatware you’d need. We ended up cooking several times! You can also use the grill in the courtyard areas around the condo. There are comfy chairs and a sofa (pull-out!) in the living room, plus a smart TV. There’s a TV with a DVD player in the bedroom. The patio a table and chairs plus two reclining lounge chairs, and there’s a nice dining room table in the unit. We also ended up walking across the street to utilize the pool and hot tub at Poipu Athletic Club several times! We were a little confused at first about where to actually go and how to get there, but once we figured out it was super easy and hassle-free. The concierge was available by text and always helpful and responsive! We had a pretty magical time and are so grateful we found this unit at Kiahuna! It was the PERFECT spot for us to get to hikes at Waimea and Koke’e or up to Hanalei to check out the north shore. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again, maybe with our kids next time! Love this spot!

We stayed next door to this unit four years ago, and fell in love with the location. But this particular unit was even better! We couldn't believe how well-stocked the kitchen was, and the location literally cant be beat!

Amazing location!!

Our stay on the beach front was amazing! We splurged this time to be right up front and it was well worth it. The condo is beautiful and very well stocked. The outside closet was a great surprise to find tons of beach gear! We got very spoiled for 10 days to be the first ones on the beach with our chairs and umbrella! Being the corner unit was also very nice. We definitely will rent this unit again!

Incredible Stay!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this unit! This is our second time staying at the beachfront units and they never disappoint. We love the location because you can just walk right out to the beach with beautiful sunsets every night. From the unit - you can walk up the street for coffee, juice, food and shopping or hike a little further to the Heritage Trail or to Spouting Horn. The unit was super clean, the kitchen is well-stocked, and there are lots of beach toys - especially boogie boards which were so much fun! The communication with Parrish Collection was excellent! They even sent a text during the stay to make sure everything was going well. Mahalo for such an incredible stay!

Paradise

Very few things in life are worth it as much as our stay here was. Just open the glass doors and take in the beach and ocean. It is literally your backyard. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, everything else on the property as well. One Kauai tip: go to Queen's Bath! Be prepared for a muddy and little challenging hike, but extremely worth it.

Wonderful beach front property

We have stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation at least 10 times and this unit has the best stocked kitchen I have ever had. Usually there are just a few plates and utensils but this unit has good knives, lots of utensils and cooking tools as well as plates and glasses. Makes it so much nicer for cooking. All the appliances are new as well. Also the location of the unit gives you lots of privacy and you can hear the ocean waves in the bedroom. I loved falling asleep to that! Most units I have stayed in come with beach supplies in the closet in the living room. I didn’t discover until the last day that there was a closet outside by the front door that has all those items. Bummer for us because I rented some of the things that were supplied for free but we didn’t notice the outside closet just because most unit don’t have them outside so make sure you don’t miss those! There is a sun umbrella, boogie boards and a cooler. Nice supplies to be able to use! I do wish that mid week there had been a towel refresh included for the price we paid per night, especially since we were there for 10 nights. We have always had that included in other units. One bummer for all the beach front units is that the shrubbery between the beach and the grass is getting washed away so they have installed a short fence. We like the beach front properties as we like to sit in chairs on the grass or porch and watch the ocean. The height of the fence blocks the view when you are sitting. That is a huge bummer and I’m not sure I would stay ground level anymore. We had a problem with the DVD player and their response to fix it was immediate. Great customer service! It’s a wonderful condo on a great beach within walking distance of Starbucks and some great restaurants.

This property is everything that it says it is and what we were looking for. Hurricane Flossie skirted the islands when we where thee and stirred up a nice surf for us. Love the place and location!

Beautiful location, but what's with the bed?

This condo's location was perfect. Just steps from the water with a hedge to provide privacy. It's a little cramped with all the oversized furniture, but the real disappointment was the bed. We've stayed in hundreds of hotels and this was probably in the top 5 of worst bed. It's like sleeping on concrete and creaks with every movement. We were so happy to leave that bed. There's a book that the owners leave for guests to record their thoughts and adventures. We did the same thing in a VRBO of our own. The book, started over ten years ago, has very few entries and zero in the past 7 months. Maybe people love your condo's location but are really upset about the bed. It's a 1 bedroom, for couples, with no glass in the windows and a creaky bed. Think about it.....

Oceanfront condo, amazing view, clean, and equipment updated.

When we just arrived, we were surprised by looking at the ocean front view. Overall very nice, it looks like they have updated the facilities for sure, looks still very new, and of course it is clean. Before we came, there was a little concerned about no A.C in the condo, but the fact is, two ceiling fans and one remote fan totally works. (We arrived in the beginning of October, 2018). So we’ll come back soon, hope next time still get a chance to stay here again, and thanks again for sharing this nice condo with us.

We loved this place. The water views, the cool trades, brilliant starry nights! Fully stocked kitchen in fact so well stocked that there’s no room for food storage, HA! Lots of beach toys and everything you will need for fun in Poipu!

Great unit, right on super beach, well stocked and well located on south side of island. Only reason for 4 stars is Rental agency made us come to their office to change keys mid stay (think they should have dropped off rather) and the bed mattress is a little old. Will happily return

Great oceanfront condo on Kiahuna Beach

We just stayed four days at this very nice oceanfront condo for spring break. The location is amazing, right on the beach and easy walking distance to Poipu Beach. The location is great, very close to old Koloa town and the shopping center is Koloa. We walked to breakfast to Little Fish Coffee Co a couple of days. Try DaCrack as well. There is no AC in the condo, but the fan in the bedroom kept it plenty cool at night. And great sunsets from right outside. We used the community BBQ a few nights to grill fish. Would definitely stay there again.
