- When you pull up to the beautiful Walelia Getaway, you will find your parking in the driveway to the right hand side (Find attached).
This will be your designated parking for one vehicle.
- As you walk through the doors to the grand entrance hall, you will see your unit #1 or the Orchid Suite, on the right hand side. The hall space is shared with our other suite, the Taro Suite #2.
There’s also a door at the end of the hall, which goes to our shared pool and backyard area.
- Outside of your door, you will see two beach chairs and one beach umbrella for your use. There is a hose for footwash and an outside shower that you can utilize to wash off yourself and the equipment after the beach, located out in the parking area by the pond. (Find attached)
- You will have electronic access to your unit and your code will be given to you upon the day or before your arrival.
As you enter your property, you will see a small, cozy room with a queen bed and fresh linens. The AC will be set to a cool temperature for you to have a comfortable time settling in.
Please note that the door will automatically lock once you are inside the suite.
- As you walk in, you will find a desk and working space on your right hand side with a lamp and a mirror, to your left you’ll find a fully loaded kitchenette with a hot plate located under the sink. Also, under the sink, you will find a dish rack for clean dishes, paper, towels, and trash bags. There will be a fresh sponge and dish soap and a dish towel for your use as well. All of the dishes and cooking ware will be above the sink area in the cupboards and a Keurig coffee maker will be on the counter.
Further left in the closet you will see additional appliances, toaster, blender, and Keurig coffee pods with creamer and sugar for your entire stay.
Also, in this closet, you will find an iron and a small ironing board, as well as a laundry basket, hangers, and a step ladder.
When looking around your room, you will see that the TV has a Roku set up for your enjoyment. There’s also a dresser which will have two beach towels rolled nicely, and a couple nightstands with lamps by the bed.
You will have a full bathroom, including a walk-in upgraded shower with all of the soaps, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and an added perk of biodegradable exfoliating sponges.
This unit has solar, on-demand heating, and it takes a minute to travel from the source. Please turn the water on a couple minutes before you jump into the shower to be sure it’s at the right temperature.
There will be four bath towels, four hand towels, and four washcloths in the bathroom for your use, as well as a black makeup remover washcloth.
- As you exit through the sliding glass doors, you will have your own private lanai with table and two chairs, as well as a couple boogie boards for your enjoyment. If you go left on the path, you will see the washer and dryer in our shared laundry room.
This laundry room is shared with the other unit on property so you will need to wash and remove your items as soon as they are completed.
There will be laundry soap in the room as well, for your use.
- If you go back inside and back through your front door, you will take a right and head out the glass doors to your semi private heated saltwater pool.
There is a pool light in case you want to take a swim at night.

- Pool Key Fob Policy – Important Notice:
Guests will be provided with a Poipu Kai pool fob for access to the pool area. If the fob is lost, stolen, or damaged during your stay, there will be a $150 replacement fee. This charge covers the cost of reissuing and reprogramming a new fob.
At checkout, the fob must be left in the drawer of the desk. Failure to return it to this location will result in the replacement charge.
To avoid extra charges, please ensure the fob is kept in a safe place throughout your stay. Mahalo!
- Please note that this property is for up to 2 guests ONLY. We need to be sure that our guests feel that this property is a relaxing and semi secluded space, that is only shared with 1 or 2 additional people in the adjacent suite. To be sure everyone enjoys the same atmosphere, we are unable to accommodate additional visitors, even for a short period.
We want to help make your stay the best! So we wanted to offer some additional services that you may be interested in during your time on island:
- Grocery Shopping: If you are arriving late at night, or maybe you just don’t want to take the extra time, we can do your grocery shopping for you. You give us a list and we will purchase everything and set it up in your rental.
- Daily/Mid Cleaning: We can come as often as you need to tidy up the place for you. We can make beds or wash linens/towels, and clean up dishes, floors, etc..
- Massage/Yoga: We have a mobile masseuse and yoga instructors ready to come to you! Book a couples massage, or a yoga session with the whole group!
- We have rental vehicles available through our sister company at Booking Kaua'i.
We would love to offer you a vehicle at a discounted rate! If you already have a vehicle secured through a corporate agency, send us a photo of the total and we will beat the price for you! :)
