âThis place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in.
We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...
âThis resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed â they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. â

âWe moved here unexpectedly after our original hotel lost power, and it turned out to be a huge upgrade. The Courtyard was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located â right in the heart of Kailua-Kona. We could walk to everything: the beach, shops, restaurants, and attractions were all just steps away. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed but well-kept. Even with the last-minute booking, our stay felt seamless and stress-free. Iâd choose this hotel again without...
âThis is a perfect location! Close to dining, shopping and shave ice. The room was comfortable and the property was great. We would absolutely stay here again.â
âMango Sunset was the perfect option for my one-night stay after an evening landing in Kona before driving to the Hilo side of the island the next day. The room was immaculate and comfy, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, communication with staff was easy, and coffee and breakfast were excellent. I would love to stay at Mango Sunset again for multiple days!â

"Great week in a spacious villa with nice views over the golf course to ocean. Having breakfast in the balcony was unforgettable. The bed was confortable and all utilities we needed were available. We would choose this place again."
