The ski-in/ski-out chalet is idyllically located in the quiet mountain village of Kötschach-Mauthen in the holiday region Nassfeld-Presseggersee. At the end of the picturesque Gailtal valley, right at the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia, you will be embraced by majestic mountain ranges, pure Alpine air and remarkably long hours of sunshine. Right next to the chalet are the slopes of the well-organised Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area. With 6 kilometres of slopes and 37 kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country trails, this is a wonderful destination for families and those seeking peace and quiet. For those who like it bigger, Nassfeld (110 km of slopes), Zettersfeld in the Lienzer Dolomites (21 km of slopes) and the cosy family ski resort Golzentipp in Obertilliach (12 km of slopes) are within a comfortable 25-45-minute car ride.
Even outside the winter months, Kötschach-Mauthen is characterised by an abundance of activities. It is part of the versatile Nassfeld-Pressegger See region, where hikers and cyclists can indulge themselves on the numerous trails and the 25 themed paths of the 'Hike World'.
