”Paras mahdollinen yöpymispaikka matkalla Koh Koodille. Perhehotelli jossa ystävällinen ja avullaan palvelu. Auttoivat mm. laivalippujen hakemisessa. Saimme ihan uuden bungalowin, joka oli siisti ja tyylikäs. Ruoka oli maittavaa ja erittäin edullista. Riittävä aamupala (vaihtoehtona amerikkalainen tai thaimaalainen aamupala). Suosittelemme lämpimästi!”

”One of the nicest hotels I’ve been in Thailand. The atmosphere is so nice and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and the location is really good. Rooms are clean and the outside bathroom is a nice touch. The only problem with the room is that there is no room for clothes and other stuff. We ended up using a chair for that. We rented a scooter and drove around the island for a few days but you could easily just stay in Shantaa for the whole trip - they have everything you need. Both of the...

”Good even for the price. The cheapest rooms are more than 250 meters away, but they are good and the hotel shuttle mini bus drives you for free. There are nice fishes and turtles swimming in the hotel ponds. You could use kayaks and a private island for free too. ”

”This place has great potential. Very nice atmosphere, beautiful cottages inside, breakfast better than average in Thai hotels with lots of fruits. Especial thanks to the great massage place right by the sea. Difficulties to find english speaking staff and limited options to have taxies so not easy to move away from the resort - this did not bother us. Cottages require maintenance from outside surfaces. We will possobly visit again.”

”Sehr schön eingerichtete Bungalows in einer tollen Strandlage. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt und das Essen im Restaurant ist super lecker. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall zurück an diesen traumhaften Ort.”

”What an amazing place. It’s the furthest resort but it’s worth the extra 15/20 mins car journey. It’s a small hotel so you are looked after very well by the staff who are always on hand. Children are welcome too. The food was amazing. Every night we had something different and all was great tasty food. Price for a curry and rice is around £6 so not pricey at all as some other reviews say. There is also a local restaurant behind the hotel that serve local food too at half the price of the hotel...

”Everything you need, to get a calm stay on this busy island. With a direct access to a lagoon with a large mangrove forest and the sea, it has also one of the nicest natural spots of Ko Chang. The staff is absolutely kind and will help you for any issue. The rooms are fantastic! Only thing you have to know, the hotel is on the opposite side of quite all accommodations. So if you wanna have a drink outside or go to the beach, you need a motorbike. But the nice views make every ride worth...

”Hotel is located in very beautiful beach, breakfast in hotel is more Asian style and it has almost nothing to western people ( at least small children) to eat. We stayed in Starfish room, which was basic room and had swimming pool in between houses. Swimming pool was old and kind of dirty looking. Shower doesn´t have blumming so we had all kinds of visitors grawling from the shower floor. Beach was the best thing about this hotel. They have AC but it only works from 5pm- 9am. "Beautiful area with amazing views and lovely and sweet bungalows. Bungalows are quite small and simple with "outdoor" bathroom which was a little surprising. They look nice and we got used to the nature being so close to us. It is a bit struggle to sleep with all the gekkos screaming through the night but you can sleep while sunbathing. In the middle of paradise those are minor details. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Thank you for the visit. and you can definitely pet their own cats and dogs :)"
