”The best part of this hotel is definitely its view from the rooftop (pools & breakfast/restaurant). Also the spa is very nice. The location is a bit away from the main tourist attractions/areas, but still a rather easy walking distance - not the most pleasant walk though. The room was comfortable. There are some signs of the property not being brand new any more (stains on corridor floors, water damage on bathroom door etc.) even though it’s modern. The breakfast was good but not exceptional....

”Plaka Hotel is located in the wonderful neighborhood of Plaka. The service at the reception was very good; we were able to store our luggage and even got our room before check-in time. ”Hotellin henkilökunta oli todella huomaavaista ja palvelualtista. Muutama päivä ennen hotelliin menoa, sain hotellilta sähköpostiyhteydenoton, jossa tiedusteltiin, milloin saavumme ja voivatko tulla vastaan lentokentälle. Koska olimme Kreikassa paria päivää aiemmin, lähettivät taksin noutamaan meidät Ateenasta. Kaikki hotellin tilat ulkotilat mukaan lukien olivat erittäin siistejä sekä myös uuden oloisia tai uusia (koko hotelli lienee rakennettu hiljattain), ulkouima-allasalue mukaan lukien....

”The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, but for a five-star hotel, we expected a bit more — especially fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. Our room was on the fifth floor, just below the rooftop terrace on the sixth floor, which stayed open until 1:00 AM. Unfortunately, the noise from upstairs carried into our room quite clearly, and it sounded like furniture was being moved around constantly. Thankfully, we had earplugs, which helped us get some sleep...
