The villa is located in the middle of the protected Biosphärenpark Nockberge, which is not on the UNESCO World Heritage List for nothing. In summer, you can take beautiful walks directly from the house. Within a few minutes' walk, you reach a climbing park with a spectacular 300-metre zip line, and a mountain bike park mainly for children. During high season, several restaurants are also open within walking distance. Villa Carmaliva is also an ideal base in winter. There is a snowtubing track and a toboggan run, including a toboggan taxi uphill. For those who want to learn to ski, there is a small practice area with ski rental right in the village. And for advanced skiers, the slopes of the Katschberg, with a whopping 70 kilometres of runs, are just a 20-minute drive away. Innerkrems is also a paradise for tour skiers. Several routes start from the house, equipment and guides are available within walking distance.
