”Buckler's Lodge is located right along the Crocodile River. We saw large herds of elephants each day we were there. We received excellent service from the staff and enjoyed clean and roomy accomodations.”

”The hotel and its surroundings were extremely fantastic! Minor not-so-nice-things were that when we had a dinner at the restaurant, they didn't tell us the price, and as vegetarians we ordered only starters from the three course menu. When checking out we were told that the full three course menu should be paid even we did not eat the whole menu. So 400 rands for a green salad and a tiny fish steak.. Also after we checked out we decided to stay in front of the hotel for wifi to check out...

”Gail and mark are excellent hosts, Mark's knowledge of the environment and location definitely adds to th experience.A nice relaxing time in the bush”
”Great location on the river and only about 12 minutes from the Crocodile Bridge Gate at Kruger. It's not a luxurious property but we had the proper expectations. We enjoyed the amenities that we needed and the location on the river was tranquil and beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.”

”We liked the hosts Colin and Carolien so much. They could not do enough for us. We asked for a bigger room and we got the biggest room I have ever had in a lodge! They even drove us to get food and were such great company. The lodge was brilliant - very African. Zebras came right up to us! the wildlife in Marloth Park is very tame. The lodges are African style so quite dark as designed to be cool. Colin and Carolien had a generator which worked when the power was out which was often. ”
