+ The room was an adequate size.
+ The location was good.
+ The hotel was generally clean.
+ The pool and facilities appeared clean.
+ The welcome cookie was a nice touch.
- Not much variety of food options.
- We decided to cancel the breakfast we had paid for as there were very limited gluten free options (only egg and yoghurt). The kitchen staff also seemed very unwilling to make something alternate whereas other hotels we stayed at were much more accommodating and went the extra mile to make things like GF pancakes.
- Some of the staff felt very unwelcoming, especially the guy at the pool who was staring at us both the whole time we were there. It was only us, and he was mopping the floor and just watching us for nearly an hour. This made us feel really uncomfortable and we went back to our room and didn't use the pool again for this reason.
- The lattes we ordered to the room in the morning were only half full.
- We also ordered fruit juice to the room which took over an hour to arrive.
- There were yellow marks on the head board of the bed and yellow scum marks around the bathroom sink.
- The tap water kept turning brown.
Overall, the stay was okay but definitely not what we expected from a 5*hotel nor a reputable chain like Hilton. We thought we were treating ourselves to a few nights of luxury but we're disappointed. We wouldn't stay here again.
