My real rating is 3.5. Here's why.
Rooms - rooms are spacious, great cold a/c, clean and beds were very comfy - I slept well. Facilities are good. Hang out spot, laundry, etc.
Service - hit or miss. There were a few male employees that were really nice, but the female staff were cold and not very helpful. The staff that checked me out was nice and let me store my luggage for a few hours in the lockers after check out.
Breakfast was pretty bad. A breakfast box they heat up in the microwave, which tasted terrible, and a apple or orange juice.
Location is ok in my opinion, very busy streets near the train, but some blocks (especially near McDonalds) didn't really feel safe to me (solo female traveler).
One thing that irritated me. I stayed here for 2 nights. Feb 5th and Feb 6th, check out Feb 7th. On the evening of Feb 6 (also my bday), after a long day, and finally falling asleep, I was woken up at 11pm from staff. They banged and rang door bell continuously - they wanted to give me a baggy celebrating my bday. Nice gesture but you couldn't have delivered in the morning or afternoon?
Overall ok stay for a quick in and out in Kuala Lumpur.
