”Perfect stay!! The home was immaculate and well appointed. The kitchen had everything one would need. The bed was very comfortable. The fenced-in courtyard was delightful. But the best part, an incredible view overlooking Wright's Beach and a very short, easy, couple minute walk to access the beach.”

”It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

”Excellent communication, helpful tips, air conditioning was a life saver for the heat. Patio and deck were lovely to spend time amongst the trees. I partticularly enjoyed the old school microwave and hood, and found the kicthen to be very capable. The baby travel crib was super helpful as well for our 9 month old.”

”The five of us really enjoyed our stay. The property is wonderful and well stocked. We were surprised to have the hot tub maintenance person show up one day around 8am, but otherwise it was an extremely peaceful and private spot. Would stay there again! ”

”Loved staying here!! The vineyard was really cool and it was very quiet and peaceful. Water was sulphery but they provided bottled water for us. Best of all, they also provided cream (half and half) for us (sodas, seltzer, and all the basics). We didn’t even have to shop for basics. Really nice touch. ”

”We had a wonderful stay at the Old Timer. What a cozy and relaxing treasure of a house. The deck looking over the river was so relaxing and peaceful. The fireplace was a beautiful element that made the evenings so cozy. The entire space was spotlessly clean, and the space was just as it looked in the photos, with the comfiest couch to lounge on. I would definitely return in the future and recommend to others. ”

”We really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy and the kitchen was convenient. I highly recommend kayaking on the Russian River. We had a fantastic tour guide and there were very few people around so we got to enjoy the wildlife. Being from Wisconsin, we have always poked fun at the California Happy Cow commercials. It turns out that the cows in Sonoma County do appear happy. I can't yet vouch for the rest of your beautiful state.”

”Beautiful location on Austin creek. After our morning coffee, we would hike down along the creek with our pup (two-year-old Golden Retriever). One fay, we drove to Guerneville to meet some relatives and friends for lunch; and another day, we drove to Bodega Bay and picked up the world’s Best Crab Sandwiches and Clam Chowder (from Spud Point). Falling asleep with the sound of crickets, and waking up to birdsong… Absolutely the bes.”

”Our stay was fantastic! The cabin was everything we needed for a few days; cozy, and quiet. The outdoor spaces were great and the hot tub was perfect at the end of the day. The host was super helpful and responded to my questions almost immediately. ”

”We loved our stay here! Booked this for my partner’s birthday trip with friends and had an amazing time. Walking distance to the river and spitting distance from restaurants and shops in Guerneville. The deck was incredible for hanging out on with the hot tub and electric fire pit. ”
