”Der Weg zur Unterkunft führt erst mal über einige stufe. Jedoch beleuchtet und mit Geländer. Empfangen wird man von einem etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Gebäude und spritzbetonboden. Davon sollte man sich aber nicht abschrecken lassen. Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen, hatte ein großes, helles und sauberes Zimmer mit Zugang zu einem umlaufenden Balkon/Terasse wo man morgends sehr schön frühstücken kann. ”This place is magical! Truly a stay in the jungle. There’s no road to the cabin so the last part you have to walk on the railway. However the staff were really helpful and carried our suitcases the whole way - so do recommend to pack lightly. The place was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend! ”

”Excellent stay at Paraiso Guest House! The inn keeper is super friendly and professional! We were on our honeymoon for two nights there and everything went superbly. He even decorated the bed with flower petals and balloons for us ❤️ We were offered water, cookies and bananas as we arrived later in evening time. Breakfast was very good too. And everything we asked for, we got with a smile on top. The view is mesmerizing, looking down to the valley, Ella rock and Kithalella waterfall. I warmly...

”The place looked nice. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Took personal care of their guest and even had suggestions. Gave us a little gift at our checkout. Breakfast was good however for lunch and dinner you need to go into town. It was heavily windy and raining during our stay so phone signal and internet was weak but they had a pool table, games and books to keep us entertained. ”Great location, right next to the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people. Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities. If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you. It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience. We enjoyed :)”
