Upscale beach cottage near beach

Our Salty Casita is only a 3-minute walk to the ocean at Kure Beach, and a short stroll to the fishing pier at Ocean Front Park and Pavillion along with restaurants and bars. This newly renovated beach home is equipped with brand-new furnishings and located in a quiet Kure Beach neighborhood, but not too far from grabbing a bite out or an ice cream from one of several businesses nearby. Neighboring Carolina Beach, it's boardwalk, restaurants and shopping is just minutes away via car or golf cart. Check out Fort Fisher, the NC Aquarium and the ferry to Southport only minutes away. The home's two bedrooms can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The second bedroom may be converted into one bed for a group with two couples. Both bedrooms have comfy mattresses, wall mounted TVs and the comforts of home with extra pillows and throw blankets. The kitchen is well stocked and includes a coffee nook with supplies, dining table for 4 and cookware for your dining preferences. Our living room has a couch and rattan rocker you won’t want to leave and a 55 inch TV to watch movies and TV shows along with a variety of games, books and activities for little ones. Come home from a day at the beach and enjoy the outdoor shower with hot and cold water, shampoo and body wash to rinse off your sandy toes and then relax on our backyard deck with patio lights and a gas grill to cook your favorite meal.

While you’re here, also check out Joe Eakes Park for bocce, disc golf, tennis or pickle ball. Explore the natural wonder at the Coquina Outcrop during low tide (we have a tide clock in our kitchen) near the Ft Fisher Recreation Park. Try and find the Venus Flytraps along the Venus Flytrap Trail at the Carolina Beach State Park along with several other hiking trails that wind along the Cape Fear River.

Let Kure Beach be your next favorite vacation spot whether you are traveling alone, as a couple or small family or with friends. The beauty and calmness of our Salty Casita will be your home-away-from-home beach destination. And because it’s a single family home, you won’t have to tolerate condo noise from other guests as you enjoy your getaway!

We had a great weekend! The house was very clean, easy walking distance to the beach, in a cute neighborhood and the hosts thought of many little details that made it an easy and comfortable stay. We usually travel with our dogs but if we go again without them, we will definitely consider this home!

We were able to get right into 'vacation-mode' since the space is clean and comfortable and close to the beach. This is such a nice place. So cozy. Everything you need. The hosts even messaged us to make sure we knew a storm was coming and make sure we was okay. Also, let us know about a free concert in the area. Such nice people. Definitely recommend. Not far from beach access at all. They have everything you would need to have a nice, comfortable stay. Will be looking to see if this place is available next year. 10/10.

We’ll be back!

Wow wow wow! We were blown away by this stay. The house was incredibly clean and there was literally nothing we needed that was not already provided by the owners. Linda is fantastic in communication and hospitality. The beds were comfy and the AC worked great. The walk to the beach is short and the beach is beautiful. It’s a short drive to the Aquarium and many restaurants, plus the shop around the corner has all the necessities (and boiled peanuts which is our beach staple). We have already decided to book again for next year and can’t wait!

Go With The Flow

My friend and I relaxed in the charm and comfort of our home away from home. We enjoyed walks on the beach searching for seashells, visiting the aquarium and laughing into the night. The 7 planets alignment Friday night was incredible. And the waves pounding the shore Sunday, WOW!!! This little home is a gem, don’t miss it.

Perfect beach cottage

This was our third stay here at the Salty Casita. It’s just perfect. Close and walkable to the beach. Every amenity you could want. Quiet and cozy. Hosts have provided everything you need and home is nicely appointed. Some places feel like they give you the bare minimum, but the Salty Casita feels like a home.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at Salty Casita. It was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax between beach time and exploring surrounding areas. We appreciated the organization and availability of all we needed, from kitchen to beach supplies. The backyard space was a nice bonus! We'd be happy to return.

Quiet get away in cozy beach cottage

10/10 we went for a week long visit to the beach and this was the perfect location that was close to the beach, yet cozy and peaceful. It had everything that was needed to make our stay comfortable and is very nicely decorated. Linda was easy to communicate with and when we let her know of an issue it was address right away. I would recommend the Salty Casita and we have went ahead and already booked our next stay we liked it so much.

Lovely long weekend

Beautiful place with super thoughtful details and amenities. The hosts were so communicative and had tended to so many small things that made a big difference like a welcome card, having the firepit already set up for us, and leaving the porchlight on. Loved the quick walk to the beach and relative quiet compared with Carolina Beach. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect :)

My husband and I booked this house for a long weekend with my cousin and her husband. We had a family wedding to attend that was a few minutes from the house, which made it very easy and convenient. The house was ready ahead of time, was clean and well stocked with any and everything we could have needed. A very short walk to the beach where we saw SO many beautiful shells. Our stay was perfect for what we were looking for and had a great time.
