”Good communication from the owner before we arrived. Property was an old cottage, but quaint and clean and had everything we needed except milk or sugar. The washer and dryer was a bonus. ”

Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...

”What a unique property! If you are looking for solitude, rustic but totally unique accommodation, and a delightful and informative host, this place will suit you. No TV, no neighbors, just the tranquility of the lake! Great cooking facilities. Parking is tough but doable. Thanks for 2 great nights and the hike you recommended- superb!”

Wonderful scenery around the village, the gateway to the Isle of Skye 20 minutes away, and what feels like the only chocolaterie in the whole of Scotland within walking distance. Of course, as almost everywhere in the Highlands, you should have a car with you, as public transport is not as frequent as you might be used to in cities.”

The only problem we had was inconsistent internet and wifi, but that is to be expected with a rural property. Well located for exploring the area around Loch Ness and the Eastern side of the North Coast 500, we also took a day trip to the Isle of Skye which was easy enough. ”Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!”

Ergänzend ein weiteres Bad mit Badewanne. Die direkte Lage am Loch phantastisch ( nur getrennt durch eine Straße, direkt gg. der Isle of Skye) und das Dorf sehr schön. Ca. 30 Minuten zu relevanten...
