The rooms were clean and spacious, if somewhat old fashioned though.
Then the bad:
The first glance at Asari Classe Hotel can be very deceiving. On the surface public areas looks flashy and nice. However, a closer look shows worn down furniture, stains everywhere on the carpet and walls, paint chipping off here and there and old facilities. Basically, it must be at least 20-30 years since the last renovation has taken place.

”The 2 bedroom apartment is very spacious, well equipped and clean. Also love the public onsen and easy access to the ski trails. The only thing to complain is the limited selection of food and grocery supplies near the hotel (no convenience stores and lack of dinner choices except hotel restaurant which is just average or 30 minutes drive to Otaru city). But overall still a good bargain at low season. Not sure about prices in high ski season though.”
