I really like the location its close to all the areas we like in kyoto, they also provide extra toiletries such as cleanser toothbrush hairbrush they had really good coffee in the lounge for free. The breakfast wasnt very good and it wasnt clearly labelled if it was vegetarian or what kind of meat it contained. There are two washing machines and dryers and laundry room can become quite busy but overall excellent experience but breakfast needs improvement

Nice hotel, the rooms are a bit small so if you have more than two luggage’s it’s a tight squeeze. There wasn’t any room service only clean towels and trash bags dropped off at your hotel room everyday. The area where the hotel is located is great, lots of shopping and food nearby which was a huge plus.

My favorite hotel room of my trip! Clean, comfortable bed, loved the lighting in the room (it is darker but I found it really relaxing, good layout and great shower! Loved the coffee bar in the lobby and staff were very friendly. Best area, central to everything!!

Tatami room !
Good location, clean, loved Tatami in the room. It was a small room but no problem for a couple. Strongly recommend with service, cleanness and price.

The hotel is near Pontocho and walkable to many shrines. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. I’d certainly stay here again.

The room was on the small side we had a room with a double bed, The double bed was against the wall, next time i would go for a twin as it may give you more room. We had 4 cases between two people there really wasn't much space to open out your cases. We were only staying for 2 nights so we made do.

This hotel was very cozy and in a convenient location. I thought the room was so pretty, I liked the different lighting options and the comfy bed. I thought the staff were friendly and helpful.

Parfait pour un séjour à Kyoto
Hôtel parfaitement situé à proximité du métro, des bus, des commerces et des restaurants. Hôtel calme, très propre, chambre de taille correcte pour le Japon. Seul le petit déjeuner pourrait être mieux tout en étant déjà tout à fait acceptable.

Good location to the subway and bus routes. Nice rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Did not have an ice machine. Also only two washing machines and dryers and they were always busy. An extra set would help.

Located near shopping area and Pontocho alley for local food. If you have large luggage you will need to get a taxi to hotel as buses do not allow large luggage. About 30 mins public transport to sight seeing places. Hotel itself very clean, breakfast a weird mix of continental and local foods. Room a good size. I would stay again

A modern yet traditional hotel. Loved everything about the hotel - location and room. It’s right off the Kawaramachi street where you’ll find shops and restaurants. Although it’s near the Main Street the rooms are quiet. It’s also very close to Pontocho and Gion. There are busses and train stations nearby. We booked a superior twin room and it was very spacious. The beds were larger than regular single ones. Loved the design of the room and the use of tatami mats. We stayed 4 nights and they only cleaned the room once however clean towels were provided daily. There’s a lounge room in the lobby area with a coffee machine and microwave. We did our laundry in the basement level - a coin laundry room is available. Can’t recommend this hotel enough if you’re coming to Kyoto.

Convenient location
COnvenient location, but rooms are really very small. Surprised by the no cleaning of rooms and needing to put your towels at the door. Lighting could be been slighly brighter as well. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, with bus stops at the door

Lovely spot
Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Room 405 was good with plenty of space for 2 people. They will give you towels and etc every day of you ask for them though will not clean or change bedsheets which I found a little odd but fine for the 3 days we were there. The only real criticism I have is that it's very dark in the room! Every light was on and it was still dim! Bit strange.

Good location, good breakfast and good room and friendly staffs. You can buy bus-subway day pass from hotel desk. A perfect 10 for this hotel!
