”Basic hotel, clean rooms but very little extra. Breakfast is getting more expensive and less diverse, pastries aren’t fresh anymore, no fruit… etc.”

”Talbot House is an experience. The common areas (living room, dining room) invite exploration, The English garden is quite beautiful. The continental breakfast was good. The bedrooms are attractive and comfortable, each equipped with a sink. There is one bathroom per floor and it is shared by all staying on that floor.”

”Interesting and beautiful hotel set in lovely parkland and gardens. Good food in the brasserie and useful to know that one of the three restaurants is open each day. Plenty of parking and an hour from Calais so an excellent stopover.”

”Clean and conveniently located little hotel near the main square. Hotel staff didnt speak english so the desk lady gave me the phone where the hotel manager gave me all the information in english. Room pretty average. Overall an ok experience.”

”Nice ”hipster” Hotel with foodcourt and nice Bar. In evenings a lot of young people having drinks, which was very nice. Rooms are noise proof, i did not hear any noise. Service and breakfast excellent and friendly. This is good price/quality Hotel.”

”Old building that has been well maintained and kept the original look. We were put in the more modern portion to accommodate 3 of us. Pleasantly surprised with the open air museum and proximity to most WWI sites.”

”Lovely hotel in the centre of Ypres, close enough to the Menin Gate to hear The Last Post if you leave the window open. Staff are great, really helpful and the breakfast is awesome. Bonus points for the bed being big enough to play tennis on. This was our second visit and we're due back there at the end of this week.”

”Nous avons passé une nuit pour visiter Lille. L’endroit est paisible, à 15 minutes du centre-ville, avec beaucoup de nature et de verdure. L’hôtel, vu de l’extérieur, est bien entretenu et les chambres étaient correctes. Quelques points négatifs cependant : les volets des fenêtres ne se fermaient pas totalement, ce qui laissait entrer la lumière — gênant pour ceux qui aiment dormir dans le noir.
