Unfortunately, the gym opening times weren’t really helpful to people that are travelling because they only open at 9:30 in the morning by which time we want to get on the road again. The pool was also empty.

I would recommend.
We stayed for two nights in Poitiers. I liked the hotel and the room. The room contained everything we needed for preparing some food etc. The hotel is located some 10 min walk from the old city center (going up hill) and close to the train station. Helpful staff.
