Perhekoti La Jollan sydämessä

Alkuperäisen perheen omistuksessa oleva, vuonna 1942 rakennettu viihtyisä koti on vuosikymmenien aikana saanut aikaan monia onnellisia muistoja. Tämä koti sijaitsee kauniilla asuinalueella La Jolla, tämä koti on varmasti saa sinut tuntemaan olosi mukavaksi heti niin paljon alkuperäisestä viehätyksestään.

Parkettilattia ja tilava asettelu ovat täydellisiä, jos oleskelet ryhmänä. Kolme viihtyisää makuuhuonetta ja bonushuone (vuodesohvalla) tarjoavat ihanteelliset puitteet perhepeleille tai elokuvayön retriitille. Alkuperäinen keittiö vain tyytyväinen kasvojenkohotukseen vasta maalattujen kaapien kanssa, mutta ei menettänyt luonnettaan vintage-tyylillä pesualtaan ja työtasojen avulla. Kokoat varmasti mieleenpainuvia perheen aterioita tässä tilavassa keittiössä, joka on varustettu Viking-laitteilla ja jopa joillakin 'klassisilla' keittokirjoilla, jotka varmasti tuovat takaisin muistoja omasta lapsuudestasi.

Kun sinulla on niin paljon tilaa nauttia perheen ajasta ruokapöydän ympärillä tai olohuoneessa, nautit yhtä kauniista ulkotilasta - harvinainen löytö lähialueelta! Yksityinen takapihasi keidas tarjoaa jälleen yhden mahdollisuuden laadukkaaseen aikaan yhdessä. Viihtyisän palokammion ympärillä sijaitsevat oleskelutilat, BBQ-grilli ja perhetyyliset pöydät ulkona syömiseen - ja rentouttava kylpy kylpytynnyrissä tekevät vierailustasi ”juuri oikean” pitkän rannalla vietetyn päivän jälkeen tai tutkimalla aluetta.

Takapihasta löydät myös tuoreita avokadoita kauden aikana! Tämä puu, jonka perhe perusti vuonna 1944, seisoo korkeana 75 vuotta myöhemmin ja tuottaa edelleen joitain parhaimmista avokadoista. Siellä on myös herkullinen viikunapuu, joten kun hedelmät ovat kypsiä, auta itsesi ja nauti!

Ensisijainen sijainti

Tämä La Jollan asuinalue on erittäin hiljainen. Se sijaitsee vain ½ mailin päässä veden reunasta kauniilla ja rauhallisella Windansean rannalla. Ota lyhyt, 12 minuutin kävelymatka tai nauti pyöräretkellä jollain tarjolla olevalla rannan risteilyllä. Jos sinulla ei ole pulaa ruoka- ja juomavalinnoista välittömässä läheisyydessä, voit pysyä lähellä kotia tai lähteä La Jollan keskustaan parhaille ravintoloille, joita San Diego tarjoaa. Aterian jälkeen, miksi et ottaisi joitain putiikkeja, taidegallerioita ja paljon muuta!

Muita upeita vaihtoehtoja ovat lähellä oleva Bird Rock -yhteisö, joka tarjoaa myös ostos- ja taidegallerioita, lasten uima-altaan nähdä tiivisteet, vuorovesialtaat, Birch Aquarium - mahdollisuudet ovat rajattomat, ja perheesi ei ikinä kyllästy! Sinua ympäröi myös Torrey Pinesin kauniit valtion luonnonsuojelualueet, jotka tarjoavat yhden suosituimmista retkeilykohteista koko San Diegossa. Torrey Pines -retket ovat perheystävällisiä, ja palkkio on niin suuri, kun näet delfiinejä leikkimässä surffailussa tai kun vietät rannalle alla!

House is across the street to a high school. However the neighborhood is quant, charming and within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Great to have a driveway to park! Darling home with 3 comfortable beds, everything you need.

Dissatisfied

The location and parking were great. The house itself is very old and a certain amount of wear and tear is expected. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the house itself. There were flies inside the kitchen when we arrived. The walls were dirty. I cleaned off a couple spots near light switches myself. At a very least, it needs an inside painting, and good cleaning. New, the furniture is very old, but reasonably clean.

Fantastic Space and Location

This property was great for our family! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, parks, etc. House is nicely laid out so each room has a little separation. Very clean, had all the essentials. We had a fantastic stay and hope to be back soon!

Quiet Retreat in Great Location

Family holiday vacation gathering - close to beach and easy walking access to downtown La Jolla. Quiet residential neighborhood. Older home reasonably appointed, casual, w jacuzzi spa in backyard. Great place to hang out w friends and family.

Great La Jolla location

We came to La Jolla to celebrate my in-laws' 70th anniversary. There was plenty of space in the house for my family of 5 adults, and for entertaining my wife's large family for dinners. Plenty of seating, a well-equipped kitchen, a large refrigerator. The firepit was a nice touch. Although we didn't have a lot of TV time, there were plenty of TVs with a lot of apps for viewing. My one complaint is plumbing. The toilet would run periodically all night, the water filter wouldn't turn off. And when we reported it, they just turned the filter off and we couldn't use it. Minor inconveniences, and I would definitely stay there again if I need to house the whole family.

Great getaway!

This little old house in LaJolla was a perfect getaway for our sister's trip! My only complaint was the squeaky floors. Any time early in the morning or late at night when others were sleeping and someone was walking around, we could all hear them. The old charm and quirky characteristics of the house were fun but the floors could use some updating to help with better sleeping. Other than that, I would highly recommend!

Great family spot!

We are overwhelmed by how great this house rental was for our family. It was clean, comfortable and great location! Oh and all the charm of the ‘old fashioned’ kitchen is super cool. I’d recommend this place to anyone, and we can’t wait to visit again!

This was such a perfect home and a perfect stay. It was my wife and 14 month old daughter along with my in-laws. The house was absolutely ideal for what we needed. Close to the beach and shop/restaurants. The backyard was perfect for our child to play and run around. Overall I could not of asked for a better stay

SD Family Vacation

Had a blast with my sister and her family in La Jolla near the beach. Great for families with kids and we were able to walk almost everywhere and hardly ever drove the car. Loved hanging out in the morning and evenings in the backyard.

Not close to clean.

The location is great and the space is good. Our son loved the back yard. However, the listing is not accurate with regard to Television, which messed with our morning routine having a newborn and two year old.... the property manager was not helpful in that regard. We also checked-in to a dirty house. The outdoor furniture was filthy and the floors throughout the house were clearly not cleaned. The kitchen counters had dried up food on them, etc. The cost of this property is based on location, and nothing more.

The Ocean

Our vacation was to allow our children to experience the ocean for the first time. This house was the perfect place to stay! Clean and cozy. Close to the ocean, shopping, and restaurants. The only negative was the road construction going on the entire length of our stay. The parking area was inaccessible and the noise went late into the night. Otherwise, the perfect beach getaway!

Vintage Ranch Home in La Jolla

This home offers plenty of smallish rooms that can work for sleeping a larger group. The kitchen was redone in 1970 and we got a kick out of the 1970's " modern" sink and design. The kitchen lay out is a little odd but workable. There's a small table in the kitchen and another in the front room that can seat a larger group. This is a residential area next to the high school. I'm sure it can be busy during school days but we were there over a 3 day weekend so it was pretty quiet. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and also, in another direction to the downtown that is full of shops and restaurants. The backyard is nice for small children and has a shaded patio area. The house was clean, the real beds (not sure about the the futon or sleeper sofa) were comfortable, the cabinets contained plenty of kitchen silverware, etc. FYI there are extra blankets in the closet along with a plastic baby chair to attach to one of regular chairs. You can get 2 cars in the driveway if you park very closely. And there is street parking. Some things in the house have been updated and others have not--but everything is functional. This home is well worn but its a friendly spot for a family to enjoy. I wish there had been more than one house key. The management company was responsive and polite.

Better than expected!

We expected a pretty bare bones house as the description listed minimal supplies provided, but previous tenants had left plenty of spices, etc and there were a handful of games and toys for our young kids (plus a booster chair). We stayed in August and even on warm days the breeze through open windows was more than enough to keep the house cool. The yard is great and there was ample parking in the area. A word of caution--the high school is across the street so during the year it is probably louder/busier. Great location and great space for a family.

Great house, perfect location

This house was great for our vacation! There were 4 adults and 1 child and the accommodations were perfect. Close to town, the grocery store, restaurants, and walking distance to the beach (although you do have to cross a busy road). Comfortable beds, spacious kitchen and living room and nice bathrooms. Great back yard and rec room. Working BBQ, but the bikes need air in the tires. Overall a wonderful experience. Thanks for having us!

Charming beachside getaway

Very comfortable home. Had a lovely few days with 2 adults and 5 kids in this 3+ bedroom home. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants/shopping. Easy driving distance for San Diego outings. Being next to a school the traffic in the morning is surprisingly busy but not out of hand. Well appointed kitchen in terms of pots/gadgets but no oil, salt/pepper, spices, aluminum foil etc so bring your own.
