Nauti päivästäsi valaiden katseluun, auringon solariumiin ja melontaan kauniilla La Jollan rannalla, joka sijaitsee vain lyhyen ohi. In town for a medical conference
Our group had the option of booking a block of rooms at a hotel. We opted for a VRBO experience to allow for a better collegial experience. This location offered plenty of space for us individually while concurrently providing shared space for post conference collaboration and pool side chats. The location could not have been better!

Beautiful property!
My friends, family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is beautiful and spacious. The kids enjoyed running and playing in the yard and pool. The steam shower and large bathtub was a plus! Like other reviews, however, we had similar situations with the tenant in the guest house. Yelling from her window saying we blocked her car in when we had JUST arrived and unloading our luggage from the car. We were also playing music inside the house and had security show up at 5pm saying they received a noise complaint. Also when we were packing the car to leave once again, she's yelling from her window asking if we were playing music.. Get rid of the tenant and the stay would have been 10 out of 10!

Things to think about... before you rent.
The house is nice, in a good location by the beach and a big spacious place for families to enjoy. But before you rent since it’s a pricey home...here’s a few things to consider, based on our experience. 1) no air conditioner—- we stayed during the Fourth of July weekend and the house got hot and only a few fans available (not enough for each room). Both night and day the house was hot and uncomfortable. It got sweaty. 2) One of the biggest reasons we rented the the house was the pool. We arrived and realized HUGE extra fee to warm up. I accepted since my kids really want to enjoy the pool. They called me back and told me the heater was not working! We paid so much to not enjoy at all the pool, it was freezing cold. Plus, the maintenance of the pool was poor. It was full of algae: 3) Neighbors- BEWARE! The women that rents the guest home was completely rude at us for no reason during parking our cars. She decided to yelled at us first before realizing we where just getting the kids out of the car before we parked. She did apologize. We also had another neighbor just walk into the property yelling at us saying we had fireworks and all we where doing is trying to have a family dinner inside. She also apologized, when she realized she was wrong. Neighbors are not very welcoming. 4) Noise- by no means we are partiers or disrespectful people. During the day around 4pm, we had another neighbor come yell at us to lower the music. It was not loud. You also need to understand you can’t be outside in the front or backyard At ALL after 9pm... it’s against the home rules. Even on a Saturday holiday weekend. 5) Amenities- where poor. The pans where stainless steel not non stick. Everything we tried to cook in the pans got burnt or needed to scrub pans excessively when cleaning. 6) Entertainment- we tried to make the Living room TV work for two days... to finally find out from one the service managers that you need to open the cabinets for the control to work. It’s important to have all this information before you make the decision to rent a pricey home per night. Like I said, very spacious home, nice layout and great location to the beach but you would need to consider the above. Good luck.

Gorgeous La Jolla Rental with very strict neighbors
This house is one of the most beautiful rentals I’ve ever stayed in! It was spacious, clean, and packed with amenities! While we stayed at a pretty unusual time, amid the Covid-19 outbreak, we had a wonderful time lounging by the pool, playing lots of indoor pool, & bbqing! Even though we met the max capacity, this house still felt very open with tons of room for our guests. The only downside to this property is it it nestled in the heart of a very quiet community. The house is surrounded by neighbors who are rather unhappy this property is a rental. We were visited more than once by neighbors & the neighborhood security guard complaining of noise & too many people parking on the street (albeit public parking on the main road). We understood the complaints & concerns, but it definitely put a damper on the spirit of the weekend. I highly recommend this property but advise to watch your noise level.

Great place for a family reunion
In August the whole family decided that everyone would attend the November wedding in San Diego. On the 3rd day of looking, this amazing home popped up. Sleeping 18, it was perfect for us. Booked it straight away and we’re not disappointed. Lovely home. The renter over the garage was a bit grumpy about parking, but we sorted it out. I fully intend to book this place again. In the summer so we can use the awesome pool!! Thank you VRBO!!

Lovely home in the heart of San Diego
Loved staying here with some girlfriends for a Bachelorette weekend. The house was wonderful and a great size for a group of 9 of us. The pool was lovely and spending time outside was awesome. The only issue we ran into was checkin. There is no real driveway for the house so parking took a long time to figure out. We had no idea where to go or where to put the car. We ended up bothering the tenant living in the other building for a while before getting confirmation that where we were parking was actually correct. There was also no door code to get into the house so we spent 30 minutes walking around the house perimeter looking for keys under rocks, while on the phone with multiple people trying to figure out how to get into the house. After that debacle, everything was great. But, the house really should include more details on how to get in and make sure there is actually a lockbox or door code pad to use. Pretty sloppy checkin instructions.
