”It was a good place to stay. It was clean enough, could improve a little more as I found a couple of dead flies in the floor but at least no cockroaches, other than that everything was pretty good and well maintained. ”Please be advised that the Avalon is a property affiliated with a hotel next door. I can’t think of the name right now. The Avalon itself has zero amenities, water is available. You have to go next door for pool, food etc. There is a nice lounge area inside the Avalon and a lovely patio at the front entrance. The parking is minimal. The staff were kind, rooms are clean and air conditioning was great!”

”Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel is in a nice area, and everyone we encountered from the front desk staff to other guests was friendly and welcoming. The lobby café was a nice convenience and being open from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM made grabbing breakfast or coffee easy.
The only issues we experienced weren't major, but they're worth mentioning. On our first night, the A/C wasn't cooling the room no matter what temperature we set it to. We notified the front desk, and they had it fixed right...

”After receiving an email the evening before our check-in that they were ready for our arrival. Upon arrival, the room wasn't ready and awaiting the room to be cleaned. A wait time was 30 minutes. The hotel needs to be updated. The room was dreary with the sofa having rips in the material, the "island " in the kitchen had damage from them installing a leg with screws. Breakfast was just your average hotel foods. I'd bet Paris Hilton would never stay in that hotel.”
