”The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pool is around back and you have to walk all the way around the building to get to it but that said though not convenient, it was private back there. Shower was adequate but not great. All and all good experience and very reasonably priced.”

”Whenever I'm traveling thru Southern CT on business, the Lamplighter is my go to for staying over. Clean room. Comfortable bed, plenty of Hot Water, microwave and mini fridge, good TV. Reasonable price, close to the highway. Restaurants within walking distance. It has it all.”

”I stayed here, but there was no lantern or scissors provided, and the lantern in my friend’s unit was broken too. So I asked for a replacement, but I was told there wasn’t one available and to just deal with it. I asked them to help resolve the issue, but all they said was to talk to the manager in the morning. I think that is very poor customer service.”

”The hotel is very well situated on the sound and very clean. Views of marina. There was a wedding outside our room and the music thumped till 10pm. You couldn't use the balcony. After that there were folks running in the corridors during the night. We waited an hour to get a response for room service due I assume for catering to the event, the internal and external restaurants. Not exactly tje quiet new England get away we hoped for..”
