”Very nice old house with beautiful details. This place not suitable for people with moving disabilities because of steep stairs. Our room was located closest to the motorway so the noise of heavy traffic kept us awake at night. If you want a good night sleep ask fir a room somewhere futher away from that road. Walking distance to the city. Note that breakfast in the bistro is not totally free. ”

”We arrived in the morning via the train. We were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel until our rooms were ready. We went adventuring in the city. Within an hour, the hotel called to say our room was ready. Well before check in. The room was spacious, clean and cool. Highly recommend.”

”This property is so quiet! While the hotel was at capacity during my stay I wouldn't have guessed it. I also loved having the extra space - living space seperate from sleeping space. The air conditioning was execeptional during the hot Alabama summer and was welcoming to come back to.”

”I've stayed here many times while traveling through Mobile. First, to give credit where it's due, I still consider this the best hotel in Mobile. That said, each stay seems to come with a different room quality and a different staff experience. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating, although on occasion I get the impression that some employees are not particularly happy to be there. The rooms are the biggest unknown. I sometimes wonder if booking through Expedia results in being...

”Worst hotel experience we have ever had. We were running late for our arrival given some storms that we were having to drive-through. I called ahead of time to make sure that getting a late check out the next day would not be an issue and I was told that it would be a problem. Upon arrival to the hotel, the very rude front desk person, told us that she could not guarantee our late checkout that I would need to speak to the person that got there after 7 AM We arrived at 5 o’clock in the morning...

”Two beds and a sleeper sofa accommodated our family of six nicely. We used this room as a break in our family road trip, and it served its purpose well. There were a few signs of aging within the room (decor, window A/C unit was a bit beat up, etc), but overall it was a satisfactory stay. The breakfast gave good options also!”
