”Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again. The property appears quite old and, more importantly, was not as clean or well-maintained as expected, especially considering the price. There were noticeable stains on the walls (fingerprints, black marks, etc, stains on the couch, stains on the refrigerator, and exposed wall plugs. The kettle was extremely old and rusted, to the point that I did not feel comfortable using it. The lock on the balcony door was not functioning properly, and...

”Sir Angel’s Guesthouse started as a longtime Belizean family home, and it is even named after the patriarch, Angel. Communication while booking was timely and accurate. Upon arrival, my booked ride from the airport was prompt, and the driver gave me a local tour en route to the Guesthouse! I was warmly greeted at the guesthouse by the owner, and even introduced to a family member! At the Guesthouse, I enjoyed being “in Belize”—- I was at a small, family-owned lodging for my first two days...

”Room was big and well airconditioned but shower was in a need for repair. Pool was under repair. Breakfast wasnt very special. Price reflects that hotel is in a slight need for renovation. Staff was very polite and helpfull.”

”This property was in a nice location near shops and stores. Having the refrigerator and the microwave in the room was an excellent addition! The beds were comfortable. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. My only dislike was the fact that I booked under the understanding of this being a hotel, but there was no house cleaning for all three days spent there.”
