Good and bad

House itself beautiful and equipped to very high standard but lots of niggling issues . Key safe didn’t work so couldn’t access property on arrival . Lots of things not checked eg WiFi , tv , oven . Pool was way too hot for first couple of days - either been covered or heated before we arrived . Had power failure and couldn’t access fuse box ( door locked ) . Alarm was broken so went off and we couldn’t reset . Such a shame as most of these issues could have been avoided if property checked over before we arrived , The listing states the property is walking distance to town - this is correct but no mention made of very steep walk back which I feel is slightly misleading .

Great Villa great location

The Villa was lovely and in a great location..very modern and the pool is a great size..we were 2 couples and we thought we would be able to put the single beds together but unfortunately due to the style of the bedframe you couldn't, bedroom would definitely benefit from smaller frames.

Schöner abwechslungsreicher Wanderurlaub

Die Villa liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend und die Stadtmitte ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr großzügig, nur die deutschen Fernsehkanäle (Nachrichtensendungen ) haben uns gefehlt. Supermärkte und gute Restauraunts findet man in der näheren Umgebung. Die Villa ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Felsenalgarve in alle Richtungen zu erwandern.

Lovely upscale casa in quiet cliff side town

Casa Ana was home to us for 6 weeks (a get away from winter) and we were very content. We loved the pool and the private garden area. The kitchen was amazing—excellent appliances, cooking tools and dishes. A very nice supply of food staples was waiting for us—so welcoming after a long 2 days of travel. Other pluses—great shower, heated bathroom floor, plenty of closet space, regular mid-stay cleanings and linen changes. You have to be in pretty good shape to walk up and down the hills to town! Note that many restaurants in town are “on holiday” the month of January. And a lot of places are doing maintenance and construction projects in the off-season, so the noise level on the weekdays was a bit disruptive. We thought Carvoeiro was the most picturesque and friendly of the towns in the Algarve.

Royaal vakantiehuis, met alle mogelijke luxe apparatuur. Zwembadverwarming was uitgevallen maar werd binnen een uur na contact met Kate, opgelost. Al met al een prima verblijf!

Excellente prestation. Maison de très bon standing avec piscine chauffée en supplément, ménage avec changement de linge de bain, jardinier et pisciniste. Literie correcte sauf lit double trop ferme. Odeur d'égout dans une des salles de bains. Manque une seule chose en cuisine : une essoreuse à salade. Petits défauts qui ne gênent en rien pour passer un très bon séjour. Excellente communication et organisation du loueur.

Calm villa in beautiful town

The villa is nicelyfurnished, in a quiet place. Walking distance to the beach and the town center is about 15 minutes, back up the hill. The town is one of the most beautiful we have visited in the Algarve, the possibility of amazing walks along the coastal cliffs. The villa itself has no view (only from the roof to the surrounding houses), the garden is dedicated to a swimming pool and parking. It is nicely furnished, in the kitchen everything you need and more . We have payed for pool heating, which was amazing, it was really warm. Good internet connection. The only things that bothered us a bit were the mosquitoes (at night) and the alarm which was too fast (the time limit was too short to enter the code). A pleasant surprise (we arrived late in the evening) was a welcome pack of basic food and wine. We would definitely come back.

Casa confortável para casal sozinho. Com todas as comodidades. Piscina aquecida um luxo :-)

Gostámos da casa em si, espaçosa e bem dividida. Óptima zona de cozinha, contigua à mesa do Alpendre e acesso ao BBQ. A piscina aquecida é um must have. Zona sossegada e defácil acesso à praia e vila do Carvoeiro. O que não correu bem; Quando chegámos a casa estava toda desarrumada, a piscina suja e impraticável para lá ficarmos. Contactámos a empresa gestora do aluguer que enviou imediatamente a empregada de limpeza - ainda assim estivemos 3h30 fora de casa para dar tempo de limpar a mesma. No dia seguinte apenas após a nossa insistência por volta das 11h30 é que Elite Rentals notificou o senhor da piscina. Resumindo perdemos uma tarde e uma manhã sem ter acesso à zona da piscina que era o nosso objectivo. O cloro utilizado na piscina manchou vários dos nossos fatos de banho.

A Casa Ana está localizada numa zona tranquila a 10m a pé do centro do Carvoeiro e muito próximo do centro de Lagoa e praias vizinhas de carro. A casa está notavelmente decorada e extremamente funcional como casa de férias. Totalmente equipada, muito confortável e muito tranquila. Voltaremos certamente.

Tolles, sehr gepflegtes Haus

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Casa Ana sehr genossen. Der Check-in verlief problemlos, die Verwaltung war jederzeit ansprechbar und schnell zur Stelle, wenn etwas nachgeliefert oder repariert werden musste. Einmal pro Woche wird das Haus gereinigt sowie Bettwäsche und Handtücher getauscht. Es kommt regelmäßig ein Gärtner und die Poolfirma, um alles in Ordnung zu halten. Die Ausstattung ist recht hochwertig und es ist bis zur Saftpresse alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auch Strand-/Poolhandtücher sind da, kann man also getrost zuhause lassen. Wir fühlten uns als Gäste sehr aufmerksam behandelt und haben total entspannte Tage hier verbracht.

Fantastic Villa

Excellent place - couldn’t fault anything & great to be able to heat the pool. Really chilled out and enjoyed the walk into town - thanks to Uber for getting us back up the hill!! Katharine & her team are excellent to deal with & already booked for next year!

Everything we’d hoped for

This was our first VRBO rental and also our first month long holiday. The location is excellent, an easy walk into town and a good workout on the way back. Easy access to hikes, golf and supermarkets. We heated the pool and although the air was cool we used It almost everyday. Kate was so attentive to any questions we had. Unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic brought our time to a screeching halt but we look forward to returning again next year.

Ein sehr gut ausgestattes Haus, das kaum Wünsche offen lässt. Die Raumaufteilung ist perfekt. Schöner großer Pool, der teilweise im Schatten liegt, was für Sonnen empfindliche Menschen sehr von Vorteil ist. Sehr gefallen hat uns auch die kleine kulinarische 'Erstaustattung'! 👍 Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Auch die Hausverwaltung vor Ort ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Great quality accommodation, good communication, convenient location

The villa was well equipped with plenty of cutlery/crockery, good quality towels. Good sized rooms, and plenty of space to relax inside and outside of the villa. The pool was a good size, very well kept as was the garden. Location was fantastic, 15 mins walk to two beaches (Paraiso is quiet if you catch the tide times right) and the town, which is great for restaurants (recommend Sansibar, Mar y’Fora, Chef’s Kitchen, Decadence, L’Orange) and shopping. You can also pick up supplies within a 5 mins walk, lovely for fresh bread/croissants for breakfast. Villa was spotless and the cleaner showed up 3 times to offer service. All in all would recommend the villa for quality, location and good communication with agent.

Perfect Summer Holiday in Portugal

Our small family - 2 adults and 9 year old son were blown over by the garden, pool and outdoor space, cleanliness and comfortability of this property. The bedrooms and ensuites were clean, modern and comfortable. The living area was perfect - great wifi and satellite tv, open plan to a well equipped kitchen, straight out to shaded dining area into the fantastic private garden with great swimming pool - all to ourselves. The maid service was great, the lady was just lovely and very helpful. The team at Elite are very accommodating, efficient and friendly. When we had any type of enquiry re how to use the house alarm and safe or swimming pool heating issue; questions were answered straight away. This property and surrounding area made our holiday just what we wished for. Quiet and residential which provided us with plenty of relaxation and lazy days by the pool. We loved the pool and the weather was spot on for us - hot and sunny! The small town Carvoeiro is lovely, friendly and easily walked to within 10-15mins. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby in town and at the end of the road we highly recommend La Orange. We had a short 10-15min drive to the big Supermarket, which was good value and has everything you need for a great self catering holiday, including all you need for the bbq. We had a few days out visiting the Caves by boat and surrounding coastlines - fabulous beaches, We also went to Slide and Splash - busy but fun! Overall the holiday experience at Casa Ana and Carvoeiro was fantastic. Definite recommendation for a small family who wish to rest, relax and have fun in the privacy of your own villa. Car is not necessary at all as Uber/taxi service is efficient and reasonable. We will be hiring a car for next year though to do a bit more exploring of surrounding beach areas!

Lovely Villa Excellent Location

This is a lovely private Villa with all you need for a great stay. The pool is fab and the pool heating is definitely worth it in out of season months. The location is spot on about 10 mins walk to resort with all bars and restaurants. the walk does involve a steep hill we use to walk down and grab a taxi back which were about 4 euros. This was our second visit to this villa and we have already booked for next year as enjoy it so much

Lovely villa in quiet area

This villa is just as it is pictured, we had a very relaxing week here. It is in a quiet neighbourhood. The pool is excellent, we were there in April and paid extra to have the pool heated which was a great decision as we used it a lot even on rainy days (we only had one). The villa has electric shutters which not only make it secure but also nice and dark at night. The beds are very comfy. There are lots of beautiful beaches within easy driving distance. We hired surf boards/body boards at Gale beach - there is a small hut in the car park hiring equipment out. We also had an afternoon in the old town of Faro which was a very pleasant way to while away some time before the flight. We would also recommend Iguana Cafe at Albufiera - good food on a terrace with great view. We discovered the recycling half way through the stay - if you walk round the corner to where you take your bins there are recycling bins there also for all sorts of items.

Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr hell und freundlich. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Das Haus liegt in einer gepflegten ruhigen Villengegend.

Fabulous villa

Casa Ana is a spacious, well equipped and tastefully furnished villa and we felt instantly at home here. Both bathrooms are great and the twin room has an enormous walk in shower. There is ample storage throughout the villa. There is also a separate cloakroom. Good wifi connection. We had the pool heated and the water temperature was perfect. Carvoiero has many good quality restaurants and we managed to walk back up the hill to the villa every evening. Any queries were answered promptly and we would not hesitate to recommend Elite Rentals. Our holiday was perfect.

The villa is excellent & the pool fabulous. The pictures don’t do it justice.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Ana. My family - myself, my husband and my 9 year old son - had a wonderful time. The villa is fully equipped with all the mod cons including fast WiFi, sat TV & all the usual kitchen equipment. It’s spacious and very clean. The maid service meant a change of towels and linen each week. The pool is marvellous & it was well worth spending the extra to have it heated. The pool guy called regularly to make sure it was clean & well maintained. The villa itself is very close Carvoeiro. We had a car but it isn’t absolutely necessary. Carvoeiro is close - 10 mins walking distance if you’re that way inclined. We walked down the hill to Carvoeiro one morning but taxied back because the hill is steep! For the sake of 4 Euro we decided our comfort was more important. There are plenty of great restaurants in Carvoeiro & surrounding areas if you’re willing to travel. The roads are well signposted. Kate left a list of recommended restaurants & I have to say her recommendations were spot on. There is a great restaurant, L’Orange, literally at the bottom of the street where we had a lovely meal. Zoomarine is well worth a visit but I have to say we didn’t do everything we had planned to do because the villa was so comfortable we spent a lot of time lazing about the pool! Kate was very helpful & no nonsense. Everything was made easy & convenient. This is our second time going to Carvoeiro and I would definitely go back as it’s great for families. I would have no hesitation in booking Casa Ana again - it was worth every penny,. For a small family or group looking for a comfortable, modern & clean place to stay, it’s perfect!
