We spent a wonderful four weeks at this well-equipped, huge and spotless apartment. Our favourite spot was on the large balcony which overlooked the lovely swimming pool. The balcony's table and chairs were wonderful for outdoor eating or playing games, and there were also two comfortable lounge chairs on the balcony. The balcony also had a charcoal barbecue and sink, even though we did not use either of them. The apartment also had an indoor wood fireplace which we also did not use. The apartment was in a perfect location close to the train station, Marina, and within easy walking distance to the beach, Old Town and the large and beautiful Pingo Doce grocery store. Although there was no central heating, the electric heaters kept the apartment sufficiently warm during cool days. Paula was a wonderful hostess who replied quickly to any questions that I had.
