  • Nauti snorklauksesta merikilpikonnien kanssa, humpbackvalaiden katselulla talvella tai katselemassa sateenkaaria. Tämä ominaisuus on täydellinen kaikelle! Kahana-auringonlasku istuu Keonenui-lahdella ja tuntuu siltä, että sillä olisi oma yksityinen ranta. Tämä ominaisuus sijaitsee vain muutaman mailin päässä kuuluisasta Lahaina -kaupungista ja Kaanapali-lomakeskuksen jännityksestä, kätevästi minuutin päässä Kapaluan ja Kaanapalin maailmankuuluista golfkentistä ja muutaman askeleen päässä kaupoista, markkinoista ja ravintoloista Napilissa. Tässä yksikössä on ylpeä:

    Tämä lomakeskus on erinomaisella paikalla rannalla Kahanassa. Koska sinulla ei ole naapurimaiden lomakohteita, sinulla on todella mahdollisuus rentoutua. Paikan päällä on ilmainen pys��k��inti, uima-allas, ranta ja grillausmahdollisuus. Lomakeskus sijaitsee 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä 3 yleisölle avoimesta mestaruustason golfkent��stä, rannoista, yöelämästä ja jopa ilmaisista hula-esityksistä. Kahana Sunset on ihanteellinen tapa luoda virheetöntä Maui-lomaasi. Etsitpä rentouttavaa lomaa tai hauskaa lomaa, voimme auttaa varaamaan aktiviteetteja tai tarjota yksinkertaisesti täydellisen hiljaisen ja viehättävän paikan nuorentamiseen. Tarkkaile valaita, kuuntele surffailua rannalla ja nauti eturivissä olevista upeista auringonlaskuista väreillä, jotka muuttuvat sekunnilta sekunnille, rentoutuen suosikkijuomaasi joko rannalla tai istuessasi omalla yksityisellä lanailla.

    Kahanan auringonlaskun päässä on vain runsaasti hienoja ruokia ja perheystävällisiä ravintoloita. Keittiö 5315 ja ravintola Gazebo sijaitsevat Napili Shores -lomakeskuksessa. Nauti aivan Napili Bayn vastakkaisella puolella Seahouse-ravintolaa, joka on avoinna aamiaiseksi, lounaaksi ja illalliseksi. Siinä on myös loistava Happy Hour sekä ruuan että juoman erikoistarjouksineen!

    Kapaluan kauneutta voi nauttia retkien, ravintoloiden ja upeajen rantojen kautta. Kapaluan retkeilyreitit vaihtelevat helposta erittäin vaikeaan! Nauti Kapaluan rannikkopolun, kyläpolkujen tai erittäin vaikean Mahana Ridge -polun helppoudesta. Kapalua on koti Mauin parhaimmista ravintoloista. Korkeammat päätypaikat, kuten Merrimans, Sansei, Plantation House -ravintola, Cane ja Canoe sekä Banyan Tree, ovat ihania mihin tahansa erityiseen tilanteeseen. Honolua-myymälä, Pour House ja Taverna ovat vähän vähemmän hinnoiteltuja hämmästyttävän maukkaan keittiön tarjoamista varten. Naapurina olevassa Napilin kaupungissa on myös valikoima ravintoloita. Nauti ruokailusta merenrannalla Gazebossa tai Seahousessa! Napili Plazalla on tarjolla monenlaisia kulttuurimakuja, upea kahvila ja paljon muuta, sekä päivittäistavarakauppaa, Napili Marketia. Kapalua Bayn ranta merkittiin ”parhaaksi rantaksi” Dr. Ranta vuonna 2018. Nauti snorklausta näillä rauhallisilla koskemattomilla vesillä. Oneloa, Honolua ja Teurastamot ovat myös uskomattomia ja vain muutaman minuutin päässä!

    Nauti kaikki Kaanapalin tarjonta vain 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. 3 meripeninkulman rantakävely ulottuu Sheratonin mustalta rockilta Kanoottirannalle aivan Hyatt Regency Mauin ohi. Rantatie on erittäin kätevä aamu-sydänharjoitteluun tai rauhalliseen k��velylle kahvin kera. Kauppoja ja ravintoloita voi nauttia missä tahansa hotelleissa tai Whaler's Villagessa. Nauti ilmaisista hulaesityksistä Hula Grillissä ja Kaanapali Beach -hotellin Tiki-baarissa. Nauti hienoista jälleenmyyjistä, kuten Lululemon, Sephora ja Tommy Bahama. Leilani's the Beach, Hula Grill ja Monkeypod ovat upeita ravintoloita Whaler's Villagessa, samoin kuin monia vieraspaikkoja. Monet Mauin parhaista katamaraani- ja purjelautailumatkoista lähtevät myös suoraan Kaanapalin rannalta. Veneet kirjaimellisesti vetoavat rantaviivaan lastaamista ja purkamista varten.     Kahana Sunset on todella helmi. Rauhallinen, mukava ja viehättävä, sijaitsee Mauin parhaimmissa lahdissa, joissa on selkeä, rauhallinen koskematon vesi. Oikeastaan, et voi mennä pieleen valitsemalla tämän upean ominaisuuden rentoutua ja virkistää.

We had a big party of 6 and this condo met all of our needs. We love the view, the beach. The morning showers and mountain views while the sun shined the rest of the day. Condo was clean and well kept. If we had one complaint it would be the king bed in the master it has a dip on one side nearest to the closet that yoy sink in and it was cery uncomfortable to sleep on. So we would recommend a new mattress. But everything else was wonderful!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay under the warm Hawaiian sun. The condo itself was lovely, very clean, and well equipped, with two balconies offering stunning views. The beds were comfortable, and the entire place felt quiet and relaxing — perfect for unwinding.We did experience an issue with the air conditioning, but as soon as we called, a technician arrived within 30 minutes. He completed the necessary maintenance and solved the problem in less than three hours. After that, the AC worked perfectly for the rest of our stay, which we truly appreciated.The kitchen had most of what we needed, but a few basic essentials were missing, such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, aluminum foil, and maybe a small cooler bag. We also noticed there were only four forks available. None of these were major issues, but adding these small items would make the experience even better for future guests.Overall, we had an excellent stay and truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely come back without hesitation.

Nice stay in Kahana

We enjoyed staying up in Kahana which was a bit north of the main resorts in Kaanapali - the beach at the resort was not ideal for swimming or snorkeling, but we did see turtles there. The Kahana Sunset was easy access to Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay which were really nice beaches. The property grounds were very nice and the pool / grilling area were nice. The communication and check in/out process were both very good. The kitchen could provide a few more very basic amenities that I find common in VRBO listings and the cutlery and plates could use an update.

Good Choice

Our family of six stayed in B7. Unit was great. It had everything we needed except Tupperware and large sheet pan. Beds were fine. The Murphy bed came in handy and slept much better than a pull-out would have.

Best quiet condo complex with private beach

Perfect condo for our family- 6 adults. Plenty of room with all our adult children to fit perfectly. Murphy bed comfortable. Kitchen was stocked but needed pot holders or oven mitts. Added bonus towels to use at beach. Balcony’s were perfect for dinners outside and relaxing. Best part was the small quiet condo complex with a private beach. No resort hustle and bustle. Perfect set up with chairs for the beach, lounge chairs and trees to relax under while on the grass. Pool was perfect for an after ocean night swim. Walking distance to grocery & cute shops. My only suggestion would be master mattress.. although it’s a huge king you can’t utilize the space. There are “body divots” so you can’t move around because you are stuck in the divots. Will stay again!!

Wonderful Stay

Our unit at Kahana Sunset was clean and had everything we needed for our 10-day stay. We had an issue with the AC and it was promptly fixed. Our host was caring and communicative. The grounds are immaculately cared for and one groundskeeper even cut fresh mango and papaya for us! Kahana is conveniently located a short drive from Kaanapali (though be aware that it might be sunny just south in Lahaina and rainy here!). The pool is nice and thankfully has a baby pool if you have a non-swimmer. The only thing I wish we were aware of is how tiny the private beach is now due to erosion, etc. You can find out more if you want to Google it. There are so many turtles here and it’s so lovely that we probably wouldn’t have needed to drive to other beaches! But the beach is now so small that unless conditions are perfect (i.e. no wind), it isn’t safe for little kids to play.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kahana Sunset, Unit B7 was the perfect spot for our group of 7. Conveniently located just blocks of Napali Market/small restaurants, and Napili Bay--with fabulous tide pools and snorkeling. The grounds are impeccably maintained, with a variety of lush, tropical flowers. There's even an herb garden for use by guests, which gave us fresh parsley and cilantro for our dinner one night. The pool consists of a large pool and kid's pool. During our stay, an adjacent property had a mudslide, so the small bay was muddy and unswimmable. We had lots of beaches on our itinerary however, so it wasn't really a big deal to us. The layout of the condo was great: Entering the front door, there's an updated powder room on the right, and staircase to the upper floor. Beyond are the beautiful kitchen and open-concept family room with queen sized Murphy bed, and with glass doors allowing views of the spacious patio and gorgeous ocean beyond. Up the stairs, they fork at the landing with the right going to an ensuite guest bedroom, and the left to the master bedroom. The guest bedroom has queen and twin beds, wall-mounted TV, vanity, built-in dresser, small closet space, and beautifully updated bathroom/shower. The master has a closet with stacked washer/dryer, large vanity, and bathroom with stunning rain shower. The bedroom itself is extremely specious with what I believe is a Cal King bed, nightstands, dresser and full closet. The glass slider leads to a second full-sized balcony with lounge chairs where we enjoyed ourmorning coffee and exceptional ocean views. We like to cook while on vacations, so I'll say that the kitchen was moderately stocked. There were loads of glasses, but only 4 plates and a couple of bowls...but most of the basics were there. The unit was clean and well appointed. Some of the issues where the ice maker didn't work, there were only 3 spoons, and the screen door down stairs needs replaced. I called in a service request to unclog the master bath sink and fix the noisy AC unit down stairs. They came to unclog the sink the next morning. The wall mounted AC down stairs made this continuous loud 4 BUZZ sounds almost every hour, 24 hours a day. When I mentioned this to the service person, they didn't sound very encouraging that it would get fixed. When the person checked in with us the day before we left, we mentioned it again but we got push back. That said we didn't let those things bother us and we had a great time. The unit is as advertised and we would stay there again.

This particular unit is in my opinion quite dated and need some overall maintenance to bring it up to a satisfactory condition. Screen doors are very old icemaker was broken. Air conditioner is dripping downstairs and making loud noises Pans are quite dated as is silverware carpet is extremely dirty fan in master bedroom does not work. Internet didn’t work all week so we use the unit that we also rented next-door. overall, in my opinion, I think a small amount of money and maintenance could improve this unit substantially.

For our family, it’s nice in places I like (kitchen, living, bathrooms) and a bit worn in other places (carpeted stairs and landing, lanai) such that I’m not worried about the kids messing the carpet with their dirty feet and storing our beach toys on the lanai. The beds are soft for my taste, but I like sleeping on a firm flat surface. My husband loves the mattress!The location is AWESOME! Ten-fifteen minutes in either direction gets us to killer boogey boarding at D.T. Fleming beach, snorkeling at beautiful Honolua Bay, dinner and shopping in Lahaina, our favorite shave ice truck, Coconut Caboose. I can walk to Napili Market for groceries or a coffee at Napili Coffee and the farmers market across the highway.To top it off, the grounds at Kahana Sunset are enough on their own! Gorgeous lush foliage, well-maintained salt-water pool, clean, grassy ocean-front lawn, lots of well-maintained bbq’s to grill up our own fresh dinners, it’s own private beach, sea turtles, some rocks to snorkel, and a little cove to paddle board in! And the condo is just steps to all this! We’ll definitely be going back!

This unit gets very little breeze, so in the summer the three in-room air conditioners must be on all the time. The downstairs living room AC unit needs repair. It makes a noticeable "rumble" noise about every 30 seconds. That sound is fine during the daytime, but disturbs sleep for anyone in the pull-down Murphy bed. We called-in this repair on the first day of our week stay, but it hadn't been repaired before we left.

Reviewer Comments: Arrived to find that the condo was not as nice as the listing photos. The master bedroom had an awful mildew smell. We’re still trying to get the smell out of our belongings. The living room furniture appeared to be outdoor lawn furniture, which was quite uncomfortable. Due to smell and lack of comfortable seating we spent as little time in the condo as possible. We were highly disappointed in the room. However, the pool and private beach were nice.

Amazing Maui

We had a great experience, it was as shown and we had adequate space for the four of us. We stayed 5 days in Napili and made our way here for another 4. Pools and bbq’s, gardens and common areas were spotless. Nice home with a great kitchen and two bathrooms which was great with the kids. We ate out one meal a day, the rest cooked there. No stairs. Our elderly neighbor left us a note to watch the door when coming in/out as soon as we arrived but thereafter we had a quiet rest of our stay. The last thing to mention for those of you with little ones, as it’s the last building, it’s a good 1.5-2 city blocks to the beach. It didn’t bother us with teens, but I wouldn’t want to lug them all down at 6, 2 and 1. But that’s maybe just me; I want to avoid packing up kids because that’s part of my work at home! We were very close to restaurants and ‘the cinnamon bun place’! As well as loads of places to rent boards/snorkel gear (we surfed and snorkelled). Nice first experience in that part of Maui.
