”We had the room right next to the barn which was so fun being a city girl. Every morning on our way to breakfast we would feed the sheep and all the other barn animals. You couldn't hear them at night or in the early am which was my original concern upon seeing our proximity to the barn. If you are an animal lover or have kids who love animals this is a really fun property to stay at for the weekend. ”

”This is a tastefully decorated and updated townhouse in a quaint borough. That said, there were two issues: 1) The property has no central heating and the space heaters are not able to keep up with the cold weather (probably would be fine if it were 60 degrees outside), 2) more importantly, there was enough hot water for 1 person to take a 5 minute shower (and no heater in the bathroom). This was a major frustration…”

”Our first impression was poor because the young lady that checked us in was confused about our reservation and scrolling on her phone the whole time. Several times she didn’t even respond when I asked to clarify something. We had traveled 13 hours and were exhausted. The breakfast waitress was very sweet and we loved her. I wish I got her name to give her a shout out.”

”Wonderfully historic inn with sparkling clean rooms, linens, bathrooms, and all the amenities you really need - plus a $10 discoun coupon for breakfast at a nearby establishment! The live music cut off promptly at 11, so not a bother!”

”This motel is old but it is very well maintained and has been updated. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Trisha was very accommodating, welcoming and helpful. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely stay here again. ”

”Overall this is a really nice hotel on the Delaware. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is delivered to the room free of charge, which is a nice touch. Upgrades are desperately needed. The walls are VERY thin. We could hear people talking until 2am. On top of that the heating system is loud and woke us up several times over night. When I complained to the clerk at check out he said they would look into it. No compensation offered for our lack of sleep. ”
