”Positive: staff at check in and check out were both very polite. Negative: Hallways smelled like weed and burning plastic. The entrance had overflowing garbage and the doors to enter the hotel were not locked anyone could walk the halls. You could hear people arguing at 2 am in the parking lot. When we first got in the room all the lamps and Tv were unplugged, the window was wide open. The room has serious water damage. The toilet had dried urine behind the seat, the door to the bathroom...

”It is a very old hotel, I would not stay there again”

”Thought they advertised breakfast but nothing was offered. Very clean and nice for the price. If you want plush towels and linens, you might want to pay an extra $100 and stay somewhere else. If you just want clean and a decent place to sleep, great choice for the price.”

”Did not use the gym or hot tub”

”The room and property were up to date and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great, nice options. Location was also safe and convenient. We would stay here again. ”

”Everything was clean. Hot tub was broken. No sheets or blanket for pull out sofa. Couldn’t get in gym. Breakfast was so so. ”

”While the room was clean and the staff were polite, the building itself seemed very poorly designed. The hotel is off a main road, and it is very loud whenever a car drives by, if you’re facing the lake you hear every vehicle that passes all night long. If you are on a lower floor, you’ll spend the night hearing your upstairs neighbor every time they take a step, which isn’t something I’ve had trouble with at other hotels. Additionally the pipes seem poorly positioned, any time there’s water...

”We stay at this location at least 6–8 times a year, and it has always been great in the past. That’s why this experience was so disappointing. It’s a shame to see how much the property has declined and been let go. On top of that, the noise level was incredibly disruptive — both inside the hotel and outside. There was constant noise in the hallways and from outside the building, making it very difficult to get any rest. For the price, you would expect a quiet, comfortable stay, but that was not...

”The staff charged me for the room instead of just the deposit and then gave me attitude when I informed them the room was paid through Expedia in full area. There excuse was that “third party bookings” give them a hard time. That is no excuse to double charge me and just try to hand me room keys like all is well. All is not well. You just charged me full price for the room and not the deposit. The “oh well” attitude from the staff was unbelievable. The lady also called me by an ungodly word...

”Breakfast was good, loved the oatmeal bar. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the pool is temporarily out of service. They did offer us to use the pool at the hotel next door. But we decided not to use it. The mall is literally right there, walking distance. ”

”Pool was closed down for maintenance, the bar did not seem open. Breakfast opened at 7, so could not take opportunity to try in the morning before baseball games. Our room with the kids happened to be right above th ballroom that had a party booked that night, luckily the music did stop by 10pm. Was hopeful for more from Marriott ”
