”The property grounds and room are exceptional. We wanted a light snack at night and didn't care for the menu which had hamburgers French Fries . I asked a cheese tray and fruit platter and they made one up for us special. It was very good. The only thing about the lodge is that they have a very limited overall menu. ”Great staff. I would not class this as a five star hotel. It is situated outside the city and I was the only guest. Electric kept going off but the staff were really kind. The spa was good but in Aruba you must have a doctor for the spa and the doctor at this spa was missing. Many services were not available because he was not there. ”

”This was our meeting place for a night (although we spent several night before) prior to a Nat Geo Great Migration Safari in Tanzania. The staff were friendly, helpful and all around best. The could not do enough for us. It was a delightful stay. ”

”What a great place! Huge gardens with birds and monkeys. Staff were exceptional. A perfect retreat before or after flying...good for a few days. We enjoyed the guided forest walk and massages. Food was very good. Rooms are lovely. Highly recommend ”

”My stay at this charming boutique hotel was very nice. It has a convenient location, with restaurants and a bank ATM just a short walk away. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel. My room was clean, spacious and quiet. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond, arranging a late night supper, an early breakfast, and even a lunch box for my travels. They provide an airport transportation, too. Highly rec!”

”The worst experience we had in Tanzania and also in all my african travels. The photos looked nice, the garden also acceptable, but....as we arrived the reception had no idea of the booking. Walls dirty, has not seen paint for years. Same the rooms, old paint falling off walls, leakages on walls,toilet without the board...We checked a few rooms, all the same. We left our luggages there and went for search of some other place. We found it and subsequently wanted to leave due to the poor hygiene....

”it was fine for two nights but i coudjnt do any more than that. its in a more sketchy part of town and its SO loud. the breakfast was not the best, i didnt eat, and the wifi sucks. the one good thing was the shower water stays hot haha super run down in everything else ”
