”This lovely, well equipped cottage had everything one needed when staying in Broken Hill. It was about two kilometres from the railway station - an eady 30 minute walk, but close to bus stops that ran between 8.00am and 5.00pm. Supermarkets were a five mknute walk away. The cottage had two bedrooms, kitchen, family room, large bathroom and laundry. It was spotlessly clean and relatively quiet.There was a carport if you have a car.”

”The hotel has lost some of its charm after renovations although some may be impressed by the new bar. The stay was spoiled by the loud people in the next room with offensive language. The menu retains its interesting feral options but the remainder would be better if it concentrated on basic Australian staples. Breakfast was very limited in choices. ”

”Road trip from Melbourne to Uluṟu via Coober Pedy. Melissa at reception was the highlight. Super friendly, welcoming and Informative. Local of 30 years corrected our misguided perception of Coober Pedy after reading statistics from Red Suburbs site about the “violent crime” in the town. Statistics are totally misleading and relate to an isolated incident that happened in late 2023 from visiting Alice Springs mob who made their way to Coober Pedy for a funeral. The mob ran riot everyday for the...

”We loved the location and views of Rawnesley Bluff. The cabin was well equipped with cooking facilities and outside BBQs so it was easy to self cater. The bed was comfy and warm. I loved the wallabies and birds that visited. The restaurant was lovely on a cold night with seating near the fireplace and the food was great. It was a wonderful relaxing stay.”

”Back for a one night stay before heading elsewhere. Accommodated in Room 29, facilities not as good as Room 26, but didn’t bother us for the short stay. Comfortable bed, clean room, great shower and complimentary transport to the airport. Recommended and no hesitation in staying again if in Barcaldine. ”

”Great old style Hotel accommodation. Room was comfortable but a bit small. In the heart of the city but very quiet. Large verandah with table and chairs. Walking distance to various pubs and cafes. Continetal breakfast available each morning in the dining room. Enjoyed our stay.”
