Lake Front on Lake Harmony with Hot Tub & Fire Pit - Pet Friendly

The Waterfront Retreat is located lakefront of Lake Harmony. The relaxing lakefront view provides the perfect location for families and friends looking for an escape from reality. This 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house includes a private dock that gives access to the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and all guests are required to be equally respectful. NO parties, rowdy behavior or loud groups. Pet friendly ($50 pet fee). Only 5 vehicles are permitted in the driveway.

THE SPACE

Outdoors
The dock is great for fishing. (You must hold a PA fishing license)
Do not use any of the neighbor's docks or trespass on any neighbor's property (Our dock is to the left).
If you would like to bring your own personal boat, please reach out for more information. The Lake Harmony Group has an inspection process and a $300 permit fee for outside watercraft.
You must hold a Coast Guard boating license to operate the boat.
Guests are more than welcome to bring kayaks, paddleboards, and personal floats to enjoy the lake.
Life jackets are provided in the basement. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!

LAKE
You may swim in the lake off the dock. Life jackets are provided in the basement. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!

The dock is great for fishing. (You must hold a PA fishing license). The lake is regulated by the state so PA fishing permits are required over the age of 16. The lake is stocked seasonally and is catch-and-release unless you have a trout permit during trout season (3 catch-a-day limit). The lake is subject to close without notice for health/safety reasons.
No launching of personal watercraft - Lake Harmony Group does not permit renters to have personal watercrafts such as jet skis.
Guests are more than welcome to bring kayaks, paddleboards, and personal floats to enjoy the lake.

No throwing rocks or other debris on/in the lake.
No ice-fishing, ice-skating, walking, or any other activity on the frozen lake

FIREWORKS
Fireworks of any kind, no matter how small, are absolutely prohibited by the township. These rules are seriously enforced by the townships and the neighbors.

FIRE PITS
There is a fire pit located in the backyard. Firewood is not supplied, but you are welcome to use any leftover wood

PETS
Pets are welcome, but there is an additional $50 per stay. Please let me know before check-in so I can send you a payment request and you can enjoy the company of your pets during your stay. Also, while the house is fully cleaned between guests, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free house for guests with sensitive pet allergies. Must be fully house trained, dog waste picked up outside, on a leash while in the yard, and cannot excessively bark. Dogs are welcome to swim in the lake in front of my house only.

PARKING
Only 5 vehicles are permitted at the house and have to be parked within the house’s driveway
Vehicles that are not parked within the driveway could be subject to be towed at the owner's expense.

They are not connected to cable. You can log in to your own subscription accounts, such as Netflix or Hulu. You can also view free TV shows, movies, and music through the apps.

TRASH
Guests are required to bag all of their trash and place it in the trash cans on the front porch. Do not move the trash cans. Guests are responsible for disposing of all trash before checkout. When you are checking out if any trash left behind (either bagged or loose) will result in additional fees. Guests are also responsible for cleaning all dishes. Any dirty dishes in the sink, counters, or anywhere else will result in additional fines.


SNOW
During winter there is a plow service that will plow the driveway and shovel a path to the front door after the completion of storms over 6" - you must move your vehicle(s) to the street first. The driveway is gravel and the plow truck will not plow any snow under 6." There is a shovel and salt stored at the house for your convenience. Please consider this when booking during the snowy months.

HOT TUB
Do not put bubbles, soaps, or any other substances. After your stay, if the hot tub needs to be emptied and cleaned due to it not being taken care of during your stay, you will receive a $250 fine through the Airbnb/VRBO portal.
YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO EMPTY THE HOT TUB!

OTHER
Must be over 25 yrs old to book and the booking guest must actively stay at the house for the duration of the reservation.

Guests are not permitted to smoke any substances (cigarettes, vape, e-cigarettes, hookah, incense, etc) inside the house or within 10 feet of the house outdoors. See house rules, fines start at $150.

Loud parties, rowdiness, or disorderly behavior are strictly prohibited and subject to fines and/or reservation cancellation.
