The Lure is a fully renovated 1940s fishing cabin reimagined into romantic waterfront retreat for 2 on the glacial waters of Round Pond in Lake Harmony. Designed for couples, this home pairs vintage charm with modern indulgence--private hot tub beneath the stars, crackling wood-burning fireplace, fire lit evenings by the shore, and quiet mornings drifting by canoe. Secluded yet moments from adventure: hiking, dining, skiing, Jim Thorpe, and Pocono Raceway--where romance lingers and time slows.

Nestled in between Round Pond and Big Boulder Lake in Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania -- "The Lure" offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. Set on a private drive lined with several other small, waterfront fishing cabins, it feels like your very own lakefront retreat. Within walking distance is Big Boulder View Tavern. Just a two-minute drive brings you to Big Boulder Ski Resort and Split Rock Resort.

HOT TUB ACCESS
Our hot tub is available year-round for guest use and is professionally cleaned and maintained between each stay. For your comfort and safety, we recommend bringing outdoor sandals, bathing suits, and robes for the short walk between the cabin and the hot tub. Hooks are provided to hang personal items while you enjoy your soak. Towels for hot tub are provided for use during your stay.

This is a private cabin with a main floor living room, eat-in kitchen, and bathroom. The bedroom is located on the 2nd floor loft space.

Easily accessed yet tucked away, The Lure is a private waterfront cabin with private parking. It offers a serene escape on the private waters of Round Pond. 5 minute drive from Big Boulder Ski Resort, Big Boulder Lake, and Split Rock Resort--adventure is always close at hand. 10 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Resort and golf course, the hiking trials of Hickory Run State Park, and the thrills of Pocono Raceway. 20 minutes from historic Jim Thorpe, shopping at Pocono Premium Outlets, and excitement of Kalahari, Camelback, and Great Wolf Lodge. Do it all or simply do nothing and let the lakefront tranquility carry you away.

PET POLICY
We are happy to host you and your pet(s)--please notify us upon booking if you plan to bring a pet. We ask that pets be well-mannered. A nominal $50 pet fee will be added per stay. This fee helps to cover the additional cleaning required after pet stays and ensures the home remains fresh and enjoyable for all guests.

Pets must:
--not be left unattended in home unless crated. Guests are responsible for providing their own crate.
--stay off beds and furniture.
--be clean before re-entering the home after outdoor activities.
--be cleaned up after. All pet waste must be removed promptly.

Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees.

NO SMOKING OR VAPING POLICY
This is a strictly non-smoking property. Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted indoors. This include

Loft Style Bedroom - The primary sleeping space is a loft design with a low-to-the-floor bed height. Guests should be comfortable with a loft-style layout.
Waterfront Views Throughout - Enjoy stunning year-round waterfront views from the bedroom, living room, dining area, kitchen, and back deck.
Lake Access - Guests have direct access to a private lake during the stay. Please swim and engage in water activities at your own risk. Property owners are not responsible for accidents or injuries.
Sleeping Arrangements - In addition to the 2nd floor queen size bed, there is a sleeper sofa/ pull out couch in the living room, 1st floor, for guest comfort. Extra linens are provided.
