”It was wonderful. We were there for a family function not far away, so we were not there for the entire day. Also, keep in mind when you look at my review, I knew before-hand that there was no central air and that we shared (2) bathrooms with others on our floor (3rd floor). Our stay was during August that had 90+ degree days. We had a window air conditioner and a fan in our room that was more than adequate to cool our room in a short amount of time. ”This cottage has gorgeous views of the lake from upstairs and down. There is an easy sloping walk down to the lake with a private dock and beach. The long dock has a bench at its end, where I spent mornings in thought and reflection.The cottage points east, making sunrise over the trees quite lovely, especially if you bring your yoga mat. ”My husband, 15 month old daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Mellow Yellow! The best week of our year so far. We enjoyed dinners on the back porch looking out over the lake and reading by the firepit in the evenings. The cottage is in a great location for exploring- we hiked, kayaked, went to lighthouses and wineries. Debbie was such an accommodating host. We hope to be back!”
