”Great location, very clean and comfortable! Friendly and welcoming staff, from the front desk to housekeeping. Even on a holiday weekend it was family friendly and quiet. Coffee at the free continental breakfast was surprisingly decent! However for the caffeine snobs, would recommend a quick drive to historic Hazelwood for Beach Mountain Diner and the coffee roasters cafe across the street.”

”Facility is old but serious efforts have been made to update. New dropped ceilings, fairly new furnishings, new paint, quaint etc. Very clean and comfortable. I had very limited contact with staff, but that was pleasant. There was some road noise but not terrible. Spacious parking was at the room entry. Some of the room photos are misleading. Be sure to designate whether you was street front or creek side. Also be prepared for a 3% credit card charge. The most serious negative was the high step...

”Property was well cleaned and staff was very supportive. Breakfast was good. Some area of improvement is Lift which is very old and close early. Also it will be good if items have name listed for breakfast so it will be easy for vegetarian to select. I will definitely plan to stay again if plan to go Maggie valley next time.”

”Checking in was a nightmare, not on the property manager but on hotels.com. Hotels.com had the wrong property manager listed, didn’t share my info with the real property so they could contact me. I had to track down the real property manager myself the morning before i left causing me to leave late. ”This place is a gem! Our definite go-to place when I come to say in Western NC. Everything you would want in a cabin is here - as long as you don’t mind the outdoor propane fire pit in place of a messy indoor wood burning fireplace. I wish I could tell everybody this place sucks, so I can can scare people away and I will always have a room available 😝”

”Rooms were very clean. Staff was helpful. Parking can fill up because of the bar/restaurant that is off the lobby. Restaurant was nice and had good food. TV was bad. Most channels would not come in at all and others were glitchy. Shower pressure was not very good. There were no issues with my service dog. Great experience overall.”
